Mari - Jeff told me that he sent the email to you and Rob and I am SO happy that you did actually read it!!! I have wanted to do something like this for so long and I thought at this point in my life, it would be the perfect opportunity. whoa.
I was thinking of this myself...no really. I usually do the GD Giving Day to coincide with Rob's Valentine's Birthday, but was just yesterday, thinking too bad we couldn't do something for Sidewalk Angels before Christmas. I thought maybe peeps would be too broke from Christmas or then wouldn't give to the February GD Giving Day which also goes to Jeff for Sidewalk Angels, Pets Alive or the mb20 foundation which I think is kinda in limbo at the moment. So KUDOS to you dawn! Count me in. I think that is an awesome IDEA. Even if all of us could only send $10, if we combine forces and say 100 of us sent $10, that would be....er...$1,000. $20 each = $2,000 .....beautiful thinking! I already know from recent events that as a group, we have a huge heart and are generous as evidenced by our recent gift to a GDer in need. Also each year our totals get bigger for the GD Giving Day in Feb. We give as our way of saying THANK YOU ROB for all the awesome shows, music and love you give us. Thank you for inspiring and filling OUR spirits with your music and words. And Thank you to Mari for sharing your soulmate with all of us, cause we love him too! In short, we ALL rock! Mare  |
