Oh yes, and he had a total flip out over it. Big Grin

He knocked my friend right off his feet when he headbutted him, and then Rob threw his hands in the air, dropped to his knees beside my friend who was totally cracking up laughing, put his hands on my friend's chest and kept saying over and over "OMG! I've killed him!"

LMAO Big Grin

I actually thought he might bean me or Donna in the head at the Today Show a couple of weeks ago Eeker At a couple of points the flailing got a little wild. How cool to have Rob Thomas smack you in the head at anytime, but that would totally rock to have it shown on television Big Grin

I would have literally died laughing if he had beaned either one of us. I was already laughing at him leaning over us the way he did. The little girl next to me was dying watching that LOL

While I'd like to leave my kids tons of assets when I die, I should print out all these ticket tip threads to leave for them.
At least they'll end up with something of value to use until Hanson and the Jonas Brothers figure it all out. Roll Eyes

During that one I personally was verbally abused by people who believed that I had managed to get my hands on their tickets, yes THEIR tickets. This was based on the fact that they believed they were more entitled to them than me, an assumption based on thin air because they didn't even know anything about me. So then after verbally abusing me they decided that the best plan of action would be to go to their shows and throw stuff at anyone sitting in front of them, thus hoping to chase these people away so they could move forward and take their seats. It got so out of hand that I even tried to give my tickets back because by then the whole thing was spoiled for me, but I couldn't return them. And even at the shows I was kinda scared to tell anyone my name in case I came face to face with some of my abusers and it all kicked off again. And do you know what started the whole thing off? I made a comment saying that there weren't enough seats in the front row to accommodate everyone who wanted them. Now if I read correctly, Mr T said much the same thing at the start of this thread but strangely nobody wants to punch HIM in the head. I wonder why its ok for him to say it but not me.

Eeker Eeker

OMG...That makes me soooo freakin mad!!! They tried throwing something at me I'd be freakin chasing their arses!
Sorry you had to go through all that bull crap!

I read over what Rob was getting as responses yesterday and there was only a few that mentioned actual dollar figures- in fact the same one said the same thing 4 or 5 times, so thats even less. No one FROM HERE said he didn't work hard or had too much money. But I guess it's easier to make a blanket statement here than on Twitter. I am happy for anyone who can afford a destination package- more power to them- my issue- which I think I stated in plain language- was that I FELT the packages took away from the available GOOD seats for non-package people. Rob disagreed. So I'll agree to disagree with him. I think he can deal with that, as I wasn't one of the ones who called him a douche or told him he sucked. Wink

Nicely said. And by the way if you think that Rob doesn't work or is a douche or whatever. You clearly don't understand him. FYI, Rob does NOT suck. Big Grin

I would never, ever say Rob Sucked, I said the VIP package (my personal experience) sucked.

Vip Package/Rob Thomas is not one in the same.

Rob, you never cease to amaze me. THANK YOU for caring so much for your fans, always! You are amazing - thanks for answering questions, and doing research into which would be the best for us, and I can't wait to see what's to come!

How do we go about M&G contests? I haven't seen this info. anywhere!

Rob, just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to going into all this.

Just posting to say you are freaking amazing to offer free FC M&G to your fans... you'll make a dream come true for a bunch of happy fans.

You are a wonderful person and my all-time favourite artist. *bows*

As far as beating this dead horse some more...

Someone said before....we're never happy, all we want is more more MORE....I think if that's what people really think, then you're STILL just not getting it at all and probably never will.
For me personally....ALL I'd like is a good seat within the first 10 rows, a great concert and that's it.
I personally don't need a meet and greet.
Don't ge me wrong, I'd love to meet Rob.
I just don't want him to be forced to do meet and greets at all concerts.
It feels to me that this is now being done to pacify unhappy people.
I don't want more of Rob's time.
Especially during this most difficult time.

And to those who think people who are complaining about VIP packages are doing so because they're jealous.... really? If that's what you think, then once again, you just don't get it and never will.

Bottom line is:

I just want to go to a great concert, sit in a great seat and then go home and leave Rob to spend as much time as he can with his precious Tyler and family.

~Deb~

With all due respect, the people I saw making the nastiest comments over there are NOT people I recognize from here. The names I DID recognize from here, made respectful responses to Rob's question as to what peoples' issues with the packages were. No need for any nastiness to or from anyone.[/QUOTE]

NO nastiness intended... I just know what it feels like to constantly be in a "can't win" situation & it's upsetting. I am very thankful for what I've got.

Typing 'GET OVER YOURSELF' in all caps is generally taken as nastiness in most circles. Just an FYI. Wink
