Oh and one last thing, I seen matchbox 20, I dont know how many years ago in Cincy, and I had a seat waaaay at the top. I couldnt even see him and they didnt have the screens on. I was just happy I was even there sharing in all the energy and music. I didnt care. If u r a fan, you'll just appreciate being there even if its NOT front row. Come on people, where is the love?? Count yourself blessed if u are even able to go! |

Wow! I had no idea this fan club had so many perks. I knew about some, I especially didn't know about the special person at live events to see to fan club member needs, make sure we can see, special area, etc. Sounds wonderful!  Maybe I'll rethink my decision not to renew. I know it seems like we are demanding, demanding, demanding, and never satisfied. Sorry to admit to you that I've done my share of the complaining. But we just love you Rob, and I don't know about the rest of your fan club members, and I don't mean to speak for everyone here, but I suspect most people here would be willing to give up ALL the extra perks, if we could just get back the ticketing system we had when you used Fan Asylum. But oh well. People in hell want ice water, and I guess we should just find happiness in what we DO have, which is your music, each other, and you, with your willingness to share a part of yourself with us, and with all you have done to try to put together a fan club that YOU think should keep EVERYONE happy. I hearby promise to let it go. Couldn't agree more... here in Europe we haven't even got any concert dates, it's frustrating to read so many people complaining about where they're sitting..... ***************************************************************** true story: jack bauer's great-great grandfather was a mountain. Thank you for reviewing the complaints. That is honestly all that I was looking for. The fan club member are the people that truely love you. I don't blame you for the ticketing problems at all. But I do think that next time it should be handled better by the ticketing agent. I just have one thing to ask though. Can you please post how we can get that fan club meet greet oppertunity!?!?!? I am so excited to hear that I still may have a chance. Again thank you for hearing us out. That is why we love you.

Thank you for looking into to this! I was extremely lucky with seats, just the roll of the dice or refresh on the keyboard I guess! You have so many loyal fans who love to see the show up close and I don't blame them! You always have your fans best interests at heart and you go above and beyond to give us the best experience possible, no matter what seats we got! What's done is already done so concentrate on more urgent and pressing matters and know that your fans are behind you 100%!

One thing is for sure, you are probably the only artist out there that would care so much about their fans that they would look into the situation. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I must confess that I’m one of the peeps that complained about the fanclub. I don’t think the presale on Saturday went smoothly at all. If the fans get access to the best seats first, then why was there an AMEX presale going on at the same time. I tried to get tickets to the Beacon shows and was coming up empty (for 3 tickets). I had to call a friend who was able to get good seats through the AMEX presale. I’m not asking for all the fluff and stuff just a chance to get good seats. Thank you again, Rob, really for coming on here as you do. I think you should be aware of what’s going on, after all it’s your name and the band’s name that’s associated with this fanclub. In light of everything going on this so does not matter anymore. Please do not worry about this. We all love your music so much that we just want to be as close to it as we can. I think most of us agree though, that our thoughts are no longer on that. We are much more concerned about you, Mari and Tyler. Please don't give this whole FC issue another thought.  maybe i can shed the light on some of Rt fanclub love from a "drift~rafter"..im not a fanclub memeber~ becuz i could take that that thirty dollars & put toward my ticket~ i would rather go see him in concert..i dont always chat here at the board tho i visit it often to find out about Rt/MBT doesnt make me less a fan!!!!!!! so why should my seat suck worse than urs?????  i am not mizz moneybags! but i still love Rt's & his music..iv been amazed at all the wootin & hootin overthis..

Rob, I appreciate the lengths to which you are going in order to please the fans. Not many rock stars will do that. But rest assured that your fan club offers quite a bit for the cost. I was actually amazed that fan club members get a discount at the store, and even more amazed that you do meet and greets in every city!! WOW! You are doing a great job here, but don't work too hard worrying about this any more.

Thank you for taking the time to address our concerns. I'm certainly not sorry that so many of us expressed our disappointments, and I definitely think all of our complaints were/are still vaild (after all, I got a better ticket with an Amex presale 4 days after the FC presale) but I think you do an AWESOME job trying to keep us as happy as possible, and you keep proving to us fans what a caring guy you are that you would take personal time to talk to us when personal time is so precious.
I'd also like to add that I think it's GREAT that the FC will be doing Meet and Greet raffles for ALL fans, regardless of what kind of ticket you bought. Rob this is why I LOVE you!!! Ur compassion for ur fans even when they are bitching...the few that there are u still have love!!! I'm happy just to be going to the concert even if I have awsome seats or bad seats or maybe just ok seats...as long as I am there and u put on a bad ass show like u always do then it is worth it!!! Thanks for everything!!!!

I wholeheartedly second that. Rob, thank you for even caring if the fans get a fair shake, much less taking the time to look into it. I was very, very happy with what the fan club got me. Thrilled, even. As were my mother and her friend who have never seen you in concert before, and now get to sit with me in some fabulous seats for a fabulous show. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  Credit to nyaubaby @ livejournal for this siggy. I'm a fan, but not in the fan club. Since you aren't doing a full show here, and it's GA, really no point to join one because I don't want all the other stuff. But I'm still a fan. And I'm Republican. I hope you can concentrate on your Tyler and your wife and fun stuff before the tour starts. |

Im posting this here, just as I did in the fanclub:
I understand I dont know all of the details of the issues, but regardless,(scalpers, schemers, whatever) here is how I feel: I suggest to that "fans" who are complaining constantly.....Take a second, count your blessings, and if you are fortunate to go to a concert, be sooo happy for that. There are people with life threatening illnesses/diseases who are just happy to be in a fan club & enjoy the music & photos. A concert isnt written in stone. Some get cancelled. Just because u didnt get 'FRONT ROW'....enjoy the fact that u r going and keep in mind those who are on CHEMO or are terminally ill, or dont live near a show!! I'm actually disappointed in the lack of respect & appreciation coming from some of the "fans". I'm nobody, but I'm somebody who cares for others & will speak up when I see ignorance. I hope you guys dont ruin it for those of us who are appreciative! May u find the blessing in this day, Shawna |
