i too am shocked by the bad things that people do. there are so many people out there without morals and just don't do their jobs. I, unfortunatly, work in a place where a lot of people treat eachother like s*** and it shocks me daily. people treat their kids like they don't matter. pets. and so many of them all are suffering. i am a democrat and these are things i pay attention to. (what do republicans think democrats stand for by the way? just puzzles me)

in my opinion, there needs to be more hiring of educated decent people out there and more getting rid of the ones who just don't care. maybe then these things won't happen.

Just sent some $$ to Pets Alive to help. I received their email 2 days ago and am not surprised about your vent, Mari This is all just so incredibly unfair and sad.

Hey Mari,

That news made me feel so sad and sickened, my eyes filled up and it was hard to read. I hope and pray that something is done in time to save these horses. I cannot begin to understand how people like that are allowed to act in such a way and given the right to own animals.
I will browse over the Pets Alive site and see what I can do and make my donation on pay day.

Wow, what an idiot judge!
I think it's incredible what you did for Baxter and Carrie and hope that Pet's Alvie can reclaim them. I hope someone writes to the newspapers in the judge's jurisdiction and lets his constituents know how pooly he is doing his job.

i read this when i received the email from pets alive and immediately thought of u and i know u guys were helping out. i cannot BELIEVE this crap. there are just too many inhumane ppl in this world. i shake my head. thats all i can do..i. money is so tight right now for me otherwise i wuld help them out. im sorry i cant right now. it really hurts to think about this. I will pass the word on right now. and pray that this person gets what they deserve!!!

PS i started my own lil business called "kari's Kritter Kare" and i pet sit and walk dogs...take them to the doggie park! I love it! its very rewarding. thanks for being there for these animals and being their voice. if everyone could be like YOU, the world would be beautiful

I did read about this from a previous post and the update where I thought everything had been resolved to our favor as in the horses and pets alive. This does make me angry and I do wonder what was going on with the judge at the time that they passed down the verdict.

The GDers are a very generous group of people so hopefully this will inspire them to donate a little more to the cause both financially and spiritually. I would love to donate some time as well but transportation out to the farm is a little challenging for me although no doubt i'll work it out in time.

Keep the faith and believe that things will work out for the best.

Unfortunately, all this HAS been documented by the press, and Animal Control is involved...sad as it is, animals (including horses, dogs, and cats) are viewed by the law as "property" and not as living creatures...keep sending out those postive thoughts to PA and Carrie and Baxter...

That's a SHAME about those horses and they deserve much better. But one question to all. The owner said that she wanted more than $2000 per horse from Pets Alive. Where is Rob and Mari's money that theymake from all of us,do to his concerts,CD's and merchandise? Rob and Mari has Millions of dollars and the owner easily would have accepted a large sum of moany(like $10,000 per horse,ect). Rob and Mari are asking us for help(money of whatever we can do),where is their money,that they made from us and saving all the horses,they have enough to do this. WE DON"T. Now before you jump on my back I do love Rob and his music and I have seen him several times in the past and planning to go to Foxwoods this coming Oct. 5th,but my daughter and I just barely have enough money to do this. Rob is a MILLIONAIRE!!! ROB SAVE THE HORSES!!!
