I just wanted you guys to know that none of you are being ignored. Unfortunately, we've been on planes almost every day, and we are about 16 hours ahead of all of you in the States.

However, I think it's important that you all know what's going on and understand our reasons.

I have just finished posting on Sidewalk Angels, and I would love it, if you guys stopped by and checked it out. It explains a little about how Rob and I feel.

I also promise that we will all be releasing an official press release within the next few days.

On a lighter note, Rob and I are extremely excited about a new project we're working on to benefit Pets Alive.

After many months of help from Best Friends, Pets Alive is now back on their own. The sanctuary is being run by two very wonderful and capable people, whom I keep in contact with regulary.

They are doing some wonderful work, but they really need our help.

Please go check out the new Pets Alive website when you can. It's very inspirational.

And I will be sure to update you on our exciting plans both here and on the Sidewalk Angels website, throughout the spring.

Thank you for all of your love and support.

Hi Mari,
Thanks for dropping by and letting us know how things are with your pet projects, when I get my neurons firing up I'll have to go check them out. LOL
Hope you enjoyed some fine wine in the Hunter Valley despite the rainyness of it all.
Enjoy the rest of your stay and may today be the only gray sky you have for the rest of your visit.
Hope to see you in Brisbane.
Much joy

PS Just found out what the Cheyenne Frontier Day was all about I had to ask someone has I was a complete ignorant *blush* despite a few people being a little upset and possibly a little angry I think the right decision was made multi kudoses for that. Smiler
Blessings to you all.

Look! I would not accept any one's flag. Much less wear it around my neck like a beach towel, then, drop it, and keep going. At least Rob did not step back on it after he dropped it on stage. Don't care who's flag it is....you don't take it to wear as a towel nor do you drop it!!! Remember Shannon...I think you said her partner was going to the Middle East. I don't think he would appreciate you doing that to his flag and as an American Soldier living here in Australia, I would be disgusted if you did that to our flag much less someone else's!! I am disgusted!

I understand your point, Clint, but do you realize you're chastising Rob's wife and not him in this thread? I think I can be reasonably assured that Rob meant no disrespect to you or any other military person with his actions. He isn't that sort of person.

Hi there from down under.. Just wanted to let you know that I went to Matchbox 20 concert in Perth 15/4/2008. I would have to say it was very much worth the wait. I have been to a few concerts lately and that would have to be the best by far!!! Only one complaint was the venue I was way up the back but next time I will be right dow the front hopefully!! HURRY BACK!!

Hi Rob,

Just wanted to drop you a line to say I was blown away by the 3 Matchbox Twenty concerts I went to in Melbourne. I was there on the 10th, 11th, and 24th April. These were the very first concerts I have attended where you feature. I'm afraid I missed your solo tour a couple of years earlier - as I wasn't a fan then - I know, my bad! I am now a fully fledged fan of RT and MB20, so I am hoping that now that I am Matchbox/RT-aware, there'll be plenty more opportunities for either solo or MB20 concerts in Oz in years to come.

Anyway, I dragged my husband along for the first one, and even he admitted it was the best concert he's been to ever, and that's saying something - for him! And he was generous enough to allow me to go to the 2nd and 3rd concerts (and pick me up afterwards!)

I loved the concerts - all 3 of them. Your vocals were great - I love that growl you have, but I also love how tender, even vulnerable, your voice can sound when the song calls for it. You have to be the most talented songwriter and vocalist in the industry. All your songs (both MB20 and solo) are timeless, which means they don't have a use-by date. I always seem to find a song in your collective repertoire which makes me feel better, or just happy to be alive.

You truly are inspirational, Rob, so don't stop being who you are.

Hope to win a Meet and Greet next time round to thank you personally.

Looking forward to your next album...

Mari- you are such the perfect rocker wife! I belong to a few other message boards and it never seizes to amaze me how involved you are with everything and how much everyone adores you ! Most of the other fans don't like the person that holds the hand of their fav singer, but you truly are an angel...

as much as I adore you guys you won't ever see me in aussieland...i'm afraid of jellyfish and blue octypus
