Is this not the best thing EVER!!

You got to go with Meltdown *( Big Grin), because its got what it takes to get someone to pick up the CD and then hear Mockingbird..

IMO, I mean, it grabs you -its got what you need on the radio

I think my first choice would be "Someday", followed very closely by "Meltdown." Smiler Any of them would be good, but those 2 are my favorites of the 4.

That's hard! I like all of those songs. But since you asked, I'm gonna go with Mockingbird.

Here's the reason I say that: When Itunes put up the samples of the record, before Rhapsody picked up the preview, Mockingbird was the first sample that I came back to, the one I replayed several times. Something about the turn of phrase, coupled with the music, and the message, appealed to me. It's still one of my favorites from the album.

Yay! Sexy Al will return! I wondered where he was.

Still sending lots of hugs and good thoughts to Tyler, and his family.

Damn the Man, indeed! You rock! Right now, I'm loving Give Me the Meltdown, but it changes on a daily basis, depending on my mood. Anything you do is golden to me, so I think you're a stud just for asking for our input.

(hugs) to you, Mari & Furr-buddy Tyler!

I couldn't choose between Mockingbird or Meltdown, although Meltdown would probably hook in more people to buy the album.
What do I know? I think they're all brilliant, and I have a different fave every day....but it's cool as hell that you want our input!

Continued love and support to all the Thomas family, especially Tyler.

I love that you're asking our opinion!! Smiler

I vote for Someday - it's a really powerful song with a great message. I also really like Give Me the Meltdown, so I hope that would be released relatively quickly too!

My 8 year old son votes for Give Me the Meltdown. He says he thinks a faster song should be next, then another slower one like Someday.

P.S. LOVE the viral Meltdown video - what a crack up!

Meltdown is so freakin catchy and just down right fun! 'Someday' is perfect 'Mockingbird' is great... OK I LOVE the whole CD - I guess singles just don't matter to me when all your tunes are the soundtrack to my life!! I know so NOT helpful!!
Safe travels see you on the left soon!

Hi Rob! I belong to a music discussion board and peeps discuss single decisions and what songs should be released and in what order (like we're experts). Wink And the concensus is that the next single should be more upbeat than Someday. I would choose Meltdown for the 2nd single. And I agree with others who say that Mockingbird is one great song with lots of hit potential. That should be #3, IMO.

Here's a link to the Meltdown discussion if you're interested:
