Being up close DOES matter. It's a whole different show then when you are up by the rafters - you feel more connected up front. And making eye contact with your favorite band awesome, you see all the goings on back stage, side stage that if you way back, you miss. And the fans up close dance more for one. Far away you feel like you are watching a video - only on a video you can see more. When you are with fans - whom alot of us have met each other over the years - it's that much more special. (Plus we get to watch Jason singing to all your songs).

The last tour (mb20) to get the good seats up front you had to shell out $300 or more. I don't have that kind of money to fork over - so I had to miss all but one show. I was way up by the rafters and not allowed to stand and dance due to peeps around us. One guy threw his drink on a young girl who refused to sit. With the old system I would try to catch all the New England shows. (road trip!) - but now, I'm lucky if I get ONE show.

So...that is my wish....not sure that will ever happen again - but I put it out there!

Mare

I agree 110% with this!

This would be my wish also.

I was a tad taken back by the bundle prices. I would like a smaller package but I like the military hat better than the baseball cap. Hmm.. Have to see how much money I can scrape up! Dang.

Amazing siggy by Gudrun, a million thanks.

I miss those days too Mare. Frowner It felt more genuine back in the day. It was also a great time for a young concert-newbie like myself to become acquainted with the concert system. Everything worked well then. How I miss that Frowner

Rob, thank you so much. Your efforts are very much appreciated, far too often artists lose sight of those that supported them to where they are now, you haven't and we love you for that and you will always have my loyal support for MB20 and your solo stuff.

Thank you xxx

"Her Diamonds" is beautiful but sad.
The helpless feeling one has when they can't help a loved-one in pain.

Hey Rob-

Once, a long time ago, you'd commented that you would stop singing when someone told you that you couldn't sing, or something to that effect.
All I can say is that, I sure am glad that day has not come.
I could not imagine a life or a musical world without a Rob Thomas and a Matchbox 20.
You guys are the best and I always look forward to a new album.

Peace!!!

(Btw, this webpage's design is stunning, thumbs up to the master behind it)

Hi Rob, as a fellow non-celebrity (...twitter, it amused me Razzer) I have come to leave my mark, lol.

Cool, fan club.

May the guinea pig picture inspire you.
Peace and love. Wink

My guinea pig, yawning...A monster? I think not.

ditto.

I certainly don't want to see a repeat of last year, but saying that, I don't blame AAT like some others did. I think it's important to recognise when something is your own fault (own=the fan) and not just blame AAT for EVERYTHING.

While I am here I will add.........I VOTE FOR NO NASTY ONE LINERS NEXT TOUR. That just isn't right.

Many things about you RT reach out to touch others, your devotion to your fans, your wife and your music. Not only what you write but the passion that you sing those lyrics with. Your on such an amazing path..enjoy the ride you deserve it. Thanks for looking out for us..I've already ordered Cradlesong and Red Rocks DVD..and finally I've said it before and I'll say it again I loved when you had done Madonna's "Borderline" and you said you'd remake other songs later on...any plans for that? "Lonely Weekend" and MB's take on it was awesome..one of my all time favs. Thanks Rt. Feel the music

Ever the Same......

Thank you very much, Rob. You are the nice man in the world. I'm glad you look out for your fans.

I can't wait to see you in concert (Charlotte, North Carolina).

Thank you for putting good music. I love listening to it. Smiler

Take care,
Melissa
