Yes the clip interprets a women on ice ..im convinced now after seeing it too many times.The tune and beat are perfect no offence big Rt fans but with the ability to create illusion on clips Im so surprised a great catchy tune like this flopped in the clip. Its definately about an ice user lucky for us it doesnt give us the the real implicit shots of how ice users are...in reality.

I didn't expect the vid to be like that at all. I guess I just had a different vision for it. It's good, I guess, but I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. I love the song. Just not crazy 'bout the video. It wasn't very moving like I expected it to be. Very original idea, though.

I saw the video the first time I heard the song (about 15 minutes ago) and I love it! It's really beautiful. I've had the song on repeat in the background tho because there's not enough Rob in it for me to watch 5 times straight.
But great concept and I'm glad Rob's back! I love Rob and Matchbox 20. I'm sad that I had to re-register!!!! |

According to Rob's interview on NPR, the song is about his Wife's struggle with a rare autoimmune disease similar to Lupus. He said she has good days and bad days and this song was written on a bad day. I also suffer from an autoimmune condition, and the video nails the feeling you have of being imprisoned and in pain from a disease where your own body is attacking you. In my particular condition, my body attacks saliva and tear-producing glands causing dryness. I can relate to his analogy of tears and diamonds because, to me, natural tears are truly rare and precious.

All I want to say that "Her Diamonds" is releasing a very good postive sign! Even when Rob made this song for the woman that he truly loves. I like when Rob has his curly hair. |

as one with an autoimmune disease among other chronic pain problems i must say this song really hits home and describes the emotions and feelings very well. I cried when i found out it was about his wife.

Totally 'get' the video but i do agree a bit more Rob would have been nice.

He puts into words what we all can't, Then puts it to music to touch our hearts, He takes you away with his unique voice, You can't help but sing along, you have no choice. Each song has meaning for each of us, Depending on our current circumstance, He's caring and sharing, honest and giving, It shows in his music and the life he is living.
