I was so excited about getting rob's album as his first one was fantastic but after listening to it i can't help but say i don't think it's as good as stb infact i was a bit disappointed

Yes I agree that STB was a good album but I don't think that Cradlesong was any better or worse. I did quite like Cradlesong.
I think that it is a bit different than STB but I do like it. (Just my opinion  )I did hear on an interview that this album was influenced a lot by 80's music...so maybe that's why. Sorry that you were disappointed...maybe it will grow on you! |

Love 80's music so maybe that's why I love this cd so much.

I love both albums. There are probably 2 songs on STB that I mite press skip on. Love everything on Cradlesong though.
My RobThomas Poem!!!! His music helped me through my darkest days, For that I'll be thankfull, always. He puts into words what we all can't, Then puts it to music to touch our hearts, He takes you away with his unique voice, You can't help but sing along, you have no choice. Each song has meaning for each of us, Depending on our current circumstance, He's caring and sharing, honest and giving, It shows in his music and the life he is living. He treats his fans with love and respect, And we adore him all the more for it. Lets hope he continues to give to us, His gift of music and songs we love so much. By catlady |
