To all the fans & Rob,

I understand this maybe wishful thinking, but it can't hurt to hope, so.......

I am getting married on 7/11/09. Our wedding song is going to be "Ever the Same". At the benefit concert in CT in the begining of October, Rob played the perfect version of "Ever the Same". I was wondering if anyone or Rob could provide a version like that for us to play for our song.

Peace!!!

Well, if I could help ... it's hard to get Rob to play at your wedding (Lord knows I tried, haha) but might I suggest the iTunes Originals version? If you don't have it I can email you the mp3, perhaps?

Just a thought.

Thanks for the suggestion. I do have that version already.

Still trying....he doesn't have to be there...that would be an added bonus though.

Peace

Congratulations on the upcoming nuptuals!

I don't have the version you seek, but, I've always thought...

The most beautiful version of "Ever The Same" is from the American Music Award show.

Take a listen and see if it might work for you?

P.S. July 11, 2009 will also be my oldest son's 16th birthday. Smiler

Glad you liked it!

Have you seen the performance? It's... just... well... beautiful.

Maybe someone 'round here might have the video to share. Mine's in a storage box at the moment, unfortunately.

I always thought that Ever The Same would be a great wedding song. Smiler

I agree with AMA version Nedra gave. It is one of my favorite versions too.

Also, maybe you could have a string quartet to play it too. I think it would be really pretty.

Anyway, congratulations. Smiler

This is a perfect version. Wish I could get the audience out of it, not that I wouldn't be one screaming, but not needed for the wedding.

Thanks for the congrats and version of the song. Maybe I can try to have someone work on cleaning it up some how.

Peace

Yeh, I did think that about the screaming bit too - for a wedding.Wink
But is a beautifully sung version!!

Was listening - again - to my favourite Rob Song 'All That I Am' and thinking that would be a perfect dedication song for a wedding too!!!
