I need to renew soon and haven't rec'd a notice of renewal from the fanclub (which I always have for the past 3-4 years). I know the new fanclub is having it's problems but I wondered if anyone else is receiving notices.

Yeah...that would be nice. But I don;t think that's happening though. Quite a few people have posted that they didn't realize their membership was coming close to renewal and they ended up missing the renewal time. So I don't think they were notified.

But it would be nice.

They aren't sending renewal notices out anymore, nor are they sending out membership cards. If you're lucky you might get a confirmation email when you renew but for the most part the only way to tell if you are a paid up member is to call and ask or wait a couple of months for the charge to show up on your cc bill.

Did we always get renewal notices? I don't recall getting any from fanbox 20. I highly doubt we'll get any from this new fc. I'm still confused about whether Rob's fanclub is separate from the matchbox fanclub. And if so, do we have to reapply to the mbt fc. Considering all the info from fanbox20 was transferred to RTHQ which, to me, indicates that there's no membership to renew for mbt, correct??

I assume because the Matchbox fan club turned into the Rt fanclub that the Matchbox fanclub is now null and void. There hasn't been any notification to the contrary as far as I know. Hopefully if and when Matchbox get back together we'll hear something then.

Didn't someone post, not too long ago, that they were told by the new fc that the rt fanclub is separate from the mbt fanclub?

i used to get membership renewal notices from fanbox0. I am confused cause i renewed in march when it was still fan asylum and it was supp to be for both. then i hear its no longer for both so now i dont know if i have a membership to MB20

I had also thought, up until now, that the Matchbox fanclub and the Rt fanclub were interchangeable.

Maybe I will send off an e-mail to the new fanclub for some clarification. Good luck, right?

actually I had forgotten about mine until I read this.

I think mine is due for renewal in November. Nothing has come as yet.

I've been a fc member since late 98 and they have always sent you a postcard telling you when you need to renew your membership.Mines up in jan i hope something is done by then.I still lost my good seats,I started out in 25th row worked my way up to 2nd I'm pretty bummed about it.I was hoping for front row on mb20 next tour,it'll be my nephews 1st concert I drove him mb20 crazy,still do now he loves them too.

Mine runs out next month & I still have no idea what to do. I guess since seniority doesn't matter anymore, I guess I'll just wait it out & see if anything improves. Fingers crossed!

I've decided to keep up my membership. I know FanFire has been a bit of a disaster, but Rob said he'd look into it and I think we all know he'll do whatever he can to make improvements. For $40 (CDN), I think I can stick it out a while longer.
