I'm probably the first male to register here but here goes Smiler

I have been a longtime fan of Matchbox/Rob and have wanted to see him and/or them in concert more than you could possibly imagine. I got my opportunity this past Monday (Nov. 2nd) and it was hands down the best concert I've ever seen.

Unfortunately in my stupidity I drank too much and the last 1/4 of the concert is so hazy in my mind I've been kicking myself in the ass all week. I am SO mad at ME for drinking that night nobody could possibly imagine. I tried and tried to get tickets for a New York show but no go Frowner I have been so upset with myself I was willing to travel the distance so I could see it sober but nothing is available (that I can make) and now I have to wait until he tours again with Matchbox. Oh well *sighs* some lessons are best learned the hard way.

Hopefully this might be a lesson for someone else. Don't drink at a RT concert save it for your average rock concert. You'll miss something in the fog and kick yourself for it.

Thanks Rob for such a damn fine show and I can't wait to see it again... "Someday"

Not the first guy that has posted here......... don't beat yourself up too badly. There are videos posted here and there from that night. It was QUITE the show, one of the best I have ever seen...... and meeting Rob afterwards, definitely the cherry on top : )
A night that is going in my record book for the best night ever!

And yes, sadly we all have to live and learn... but, the important thing is that you learned something!! As was suggested, keep an eye out, tix are put up for sale on the board often, and generally for what the poster paid for the tix....... no scalping or jacking up the price like you see on stubhub or whatever. Good luck on finding a ticket : )
If you end up going, you will have to check back and let us know how it went!!

robyn~Rob season is the BEST season of them all : )

I hear songs that don't exist. That's my job~Rt

I saw MB on their very first tour. I think. I have some ticket stubs that say so, but no memory of it! All I know is the the 5hr drive from Portland,Or south to where I live, was miserable the next day. Don't feel bad. Shit happens. Welcome!

Thanks everyone Smiler I'm starting to feel better about it unless I think too much. I'm debating a 9.5 hour drive for the show in Verona, NY on December 8th. It looks like there are still some decent seats available I just have to convince myself to spend money and call it my Christmas present to myself (and girlfriend).
