WOW! That was a mouth full! Couldn't even fit the last word - Mixer!

I finally got all my pics & vids uploaded after my road trip so I am taking over this mixer to post them. Hope you all are not sick of seeing pics from those shows. Some great ones have already been posted. I will get my cohorts to post their pics in here too.

This will be in stages today because I have to go to work shortly and then I will have to sneak on during the day.

I just want to say now that I had the best time traveling with my friends to all of these shows. I wish it would never end. I have met so many fellow Rob fans and reconnected with ones that I had met before and it made the whole experience even better.

RENO

Cheryl picked me up at my brother's house and we drove to Kris's house to meet up with Jen & her mom, Pat. We then drove to Reno in our little caravan. Loved seeing the mountains and windmills. Had a great time with the girls. About 100 miles from reno we saw our first Rob billboard. Well, some of us saw it! Didn't get a pic because it came on us by surprise. After that it was billboard watch for me. After many miles I spotted another one so we pulled over to get some pics. When we arrived at our hotel it was like Rob Central! His posters and banners were everywhere! We were in heaven. Of course I took pics and vids of all of them! We then scouted out the venue and checked out Reno which we discovered you should not leave the main strip at night! Yikes!

So on Saturday we waited across the street from the venue where we knew the buses were. Finally we spotted the big black bus! Rob & Mari were in front and Tyler was poking his head up in between them. So cute! Rob got off and motioned for us to wait. After soundcheck he came out and signed stuff and took pics with each of us. It was so exciting and he was so nice. Even if I did yell at him.







And Abe came over to us too. I love Abe!

I don't think i need to tell you how incredible he was. But he was! I loved every minute of his performance. He sounded great as usual. If only the drunks in the front row hadn't been so obnoxious!

San Jose

So after the show went to see Matt at the merchandise stand and then we went out to the buses but there were so many people there that I just stood off to the side to watch. Rob was so cute with his short sweat pants and sneakers with no socks! The next day we left for San Jose but I didn't take many pics before the show. I left that to Kris. We waited by the buses but Rob didn't come out. I think he was having too much fun with Carlos. The show was freakin awesome! That encore was incredible! I got the whole thing on video but it's so long i don't where to upload it. Unfortunately i had these giant men in front of me. They had to be 6'4" at least! So I had to shoot between their heads and in front of Cheryl. Sorry Cheryl! Also Kristi Yamaguchi was in the row in front of us. Wish she had sat in front of me cuz she's so short. After the show we waited by the buses again and saw all the guys but Rob didn't come out to us. It was ok because we got to talk to Abe, Al & Matt so that was cool. Shirlise was kind enough to let us stay in her room. It was very cozy! lol Just Shirlise, Su, Cheryl, Kris & me. And then all too soon it was time to go back to the real world for a week until the next adventure.

So we had 4 days to chill before Vegas. Most of you know what we did on one of those days! On Friday Cheryl picked me up again and we drove to Kris's and went on our 7 hour drive through the desert. Lots of windmills and sagebrush and not much else. Finally in the distance you see life and there it is! Vegas! It's a crazy town for sure . we saw many strange things like a 300 pound man in a bikini with makeup on. On Saturday we went to the casino to line up and met lots of other GDers there. Luckily someone thought to start a list in the order people showed up which really helped keep some order. Security didn't really know what they were doing and we were afraid it would be a free for all but us Rob fans know how to keep people in line so all was good. We got front row and to the left. It was a good spot since Rob came in front of us alot. The show was fantastic of course! It was great having so many fanclub peeps there. Rob did a song for Melissa and read Hiromi's sign out loud and kept interacting with Tina & Katie & Nat so that was cool. After the show we hung with Shirlise again and talked to Matt. And then it was off to bed. It was sad to see it all come to an end. We just wanted to keep road tripping forever. I love you Kris, Cheryl, Jen, Terri, Mommaz, Shirlese and all the GDers i met on the road! Thanks for making it so special. Now i was on my own to Denver! brrrrr....

So Shirlise gave me a ride to the airport since she was flying to Tucson and i flew to Denver by myself. Linda was waiting for me at the airport with Makenna. What a little doll. She lives up in the mountains and i was so enthralled driving through them. It's so beautiful I couldn't believe it. Her husband Dave gave me a nice welcome too! lol We hung out Sunday & Monday and then Tuesday we drove down to Denver for the show. We got there early and scoped out where the buses would be coming. Glenda joined us after a few minutes. We saw the CL guys and then the band bus came and we saw all the Rt guys. Security made us move back out of the parking lot because he said the bands equipment was on the bus and they didn't want anyone to take it. Uh yeah...like were going to steal the bands instruments! We saw Rob get off the bus and go inside but he was in a hurry so he didn't stop. Then linda thought she saw the bus driver motion her over & I said she was nuts he was probably just waving. Sure enough he did it again & we walked over to him. He knew Linda (or so he thought) and we talked for about half an hour with him. His name is Brian and he drives Rob's bus and Bill drives the bands bus. After they left to go sleep secuity made us move again. It started to get cold and breezy so we went to Starbucks. When we came out it was raining so we decided Rob wouldn't be coming out & we went inside. The show was great and we had front row which made it even better! Rob came to our side alot and made eye contact. During Someday he noticed a small box Linda had for him and he bent down and took it! He held it through the rest of the song and he went back to the drums after the song and opend it and laughed. After the show he gave Linda the thumbs up and said thank you. It was so cool. Also Mari passed right by us on her way to the sound booth and she's more beautiful in person than I had realized! wow! After the show we go outside and it's snowing! let me tell you it was a white knuckle ride all the way. It was wet and slippery in Denver but as we got closer to the mountain it started piling up and there was about 2 feet where Linda lived. The mountains weren't looking so beautiful now! Thank God we made it home. The next day Dave drove me to the hotel to catch my shuttle to the airport because he didn't want to leave Linda & the baby for that long. My plane had to be de-iced so we had a 1 hour delay taking off. I only had a 50 min layover so i was very worried I was going to miss my connection in Wash. I got off the plane and ran to the shuttle with another passenger. Then we ran to the gate and found out that plane was delayed over an hour because of mechanical problems earlier in the day. I finally got home around 12:45 am and went to work the next day. It was a crazy 2 weeks but i wouldn't trade 1 second of it for the world. Thanks to everyone of my travel buddies for making it my most memorable experience ever! And thanks to Rob of course for making it all possible!
