What I wonder is, if soothsayer is an alias, why if someone knows their real name, someone doesn't post who it really is??? Why protect him or her? Isn't that playing into their hands? Anyway, that is just something I have wondered since so many have said they know, why they don't call them out?

Its not 50% of the population she cares about, its the people on here who feed her need for attention by responding to her every time she posts and wasting their time trying to educate her. I realise that, and if she were a nasty alias I would indeed ignore her... but she makes some interesting points, not only about the election but some of her observations about the board. As far as I recall she has never resorted to personal insults, which normally happens with other aliases. Yeh she pokes fun at people, but there's plenty of that from non-aliases, and some people are downright bitchy.

But soothsayer's part of the furniture, now, and is no more harmless than MADSEN with her stories. Who knows, maybe MADSEN is soothsayer ?

I guess I'll say that some think that Soothy is Sam because he is no longer on the board. And soothy showed up shortly after he was banned. I remember Sam being very generous and helping alot with Rob stuff. I could give a shit less who Soothsayer is, but I wanted to add that I have seen racism cross back and forth between all lines. Maybe it's just me, but when I read the quote from Martin Luther King about judging people by the content of their character and not the color of their skin- I took it to mean it cuts all ways- blacks should judge whites by the content of their character as surely as whites should judge blacks that way- and that ALL of us should judge each other by content and not race, religion, gender, orientation or what baseball team we follow. Election is over, we need to work on moving forward now.
