I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know Where the treetops glisten, and children listen To hear sleigh bells in the snow I'm dreaming of a white Christmas With every Christmas card I write May your days be merry and bright And may all your Christmases be white I'm dreaming of a white Christmas With every Christmas card I write May your days be merry and bright And may all your Christmases be white ******************************************************** ~ I'm Southern, I am polite. But I also have a switch, and the second that switch goes, I completely go to 'Fuck you.' ~ RT-Rolling Stone i wanted to stop on (cuz i said i would) and give you guys a yell FROM rob, on this six year anniversary of the rob yell. you guys have to be the best fans ever! Haggard Merle
Daddy Frank Daddy Frank played the guitar and the french harp, Sister played the ringing tambourine. Mama couldn't hear our pretty music, She read our lips and helped the family sing. That little band was all a part of living, And our only means of living at the time; And it wasn't like no normal family combo, Cause Daddy Frank the guitar man was blind. Frank and mama counted on each other; Their one and only weakness made them strong. Mama did the driving for the family, And Frank made a living with a song. Home was just a camp along the highway; A pick-up bed was where we bedded down. Don't ever once remember going hungry, But I remember mama cooking on the ground. Don't remember how they got acquainted; I can't recall just how it came to be. There had to be some special help from someone, And blessed be the one that let it be. Fever caused my mama's loss of hearing. Daddy Frank was born without his sight. And mama needed someone she could lean on, And I believe the guitar man was right. Daddy Frank played the guitar and the french harp, Sister played the ringing tambourine. Mama couldn't hear our pretty music, She read our lips and helped the family sing. ~~~~~~~ |

Well I don’t know why I came here tonight.
I’ve got the feeling that something ain’t right. I’m so scared in case I fall off my chair, and I’m wondering how I’ll get down the stairs. Clowns to the left of me! Jokers to the right! Here I am stuck in the middle with you. Yes I’m stuck in the middle with you, and I’m wondering what it is I should do. It’s so hard to keep this smile from my face. Losing control yeah I'm all over the place. Clowns to the left of me! Jokers to the right! Here I am stuck in the middle with you. Well you started off with nothing and you’re proud that you're a self-made man yeah and your friends they all come crawling, slap you on the back and say Please . . . Please . . . Trying to make some sense of it all but I can see that it makes no sense at all. Is it cool to go to sleep on the floor? I don’t think that I can take anymore. Clowns to the left of me! Jokers to the right! Here I am stuck in the middle with you. Stuck in the middle Stuck in the middle Clowns to the left of me! Jokers to the right! Clowns to the left of me! Jokers to the right! (Stuck in the middle) Clowns to the left of me! Jokers to the right! (Stuck in the middle) Clowns to the left of me! Jokers to the right! (uh-uh) Clowns to the left of me! Jokers to the right! Here I am stuck in the middle with you Well you started off with nothing and you’re proud that your a self-made man. ah-ah yeah Now your friends they all come crawling, slap you on the back and say Please . . . Please . . . Stuck in the middle with you (ah-yeah) Stuck in the middle with you Here I am! Pink Floyd
Wish You Were Here So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, blue skies from pain. Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell? And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts? Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze? Cold comfort for change? And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage? How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year, Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here. ******************************************************** ~ I'm Southern, I am polite. Powderfinger - Stumblin'
I got to feeling low for making light of whatever you said The pain went straight to my head chopping me up turning me to morose You've got a thing or two coming soon so I'll get out of your way Beat blue, blackened and bruised chopping it up at the end of the day You better step back and see the mess that you left Won't you tell it to somebody who cares I'm stumblin' all the way 'cause its not such a beautiful day You stopped to see the show but don't believe everything that you read The pain's still there in my head pulling me close now that I'm here alone Don't stop because of me you'll never know just how long you'd have stayed So sleep through the slackening screws cutting me loose at the end of the day It's not such a beautiful day But I'll stumble through all the same The bright lights are fading away It's not such a beautiful day the elements they speak to me |

Ray Charles - I Believe To My Soul
One of these days and it won't be long, You're gonna look for me and I'll be gone 'Cause I believe (I believe, yes I believe) I say I believe right now (I believe, yes I believe) Well I believe to my soul now, Tryin' to make a fool of me (I believe it, I believe it) Well you're goin' 'round here with your head so hard, I think I'm gonna have to use my rod 'Cause I believe (I believe, yes I believe) I say I believe right now (I believe, yes I believe) Well I believe to my soul now Tryin' to make a fool of me (I believe it, I believe it) Last night you were dreaming and I heard you say "Oh, Johnny" when you know my name is Ray That's why I believe right now (I believe, yes I believe) I say I believe right now (I believe, yes I believe) Whoa I believe to my soul now Tryin' to make a fool of me (I believe it) ~~~~~~~ |

When I said I do~ Clint Black
these times are troubled and these times are good And they're always gonna be, they rise and they fall We take 'em all the way that we should Together you and me forsaking them all Deep in the night and by the light of day It always looks the same, true love always does And here by your side, or a million miles away Nothin's ever gonna change the way that i feel, The way it is, is the way that it was When i said i do, i meant that i will 'til the end of all time Be faithful and true, devoted to you That's what i had in mind when i said i do Well this old world keeps changin', and the world stays the same For all who came before, and it goes hand and hand Only you and i can undo all that we became That makes us so much more, than a woman and a man And after everything that comes and goes around Has only passed us by, here alone in our dreams I know there's a lonely heart in every lost and found But forever you and i will be the ones Who found out what forever means When i said i do, i meant that i will 'til the end of all time Be faithful and true, devoted to you That's what i had in mind when i said i do Truer than true, you know that i'll always be there for you That's what i had in mind, that's what i had in mind, When i said i do ******************************************************** ~ I'm Southern, I am polite. Garth Brooks - Friends In Low Places
Blame it all on my roots I showed up in boots And ruined your black tie affair The last one to know The last one to show I was the last one You thought you'd see there And I saw the surprise And the fear in his eyes When I took his glass of champagne And I toasted you Said, honey, we may be through But you'll never hear me complain 'Cause I've got friends in low places Where the whiskey drowns And the beer chases my blues away And I'll be okay I'm not big on social graces Think I'll slip on down to the oasis Oh, I've got friends in low places Well, I guess I was wrong I just don't belong But then, I've been there before Everything's all right I'll just say goodnight And I'll show myself to the door Hey, I didn't mean To cause a big scene Just give me an hour and then Well, I'll be as high As that ivory tower That you're livin' in 'Cause I've got friends in low places Where the whiskey drowns And the beer chases my blues away And I'll be okay I'm not big on social graces Think I'll slip on down to the oasis Oh, I've got friends in low places [3rd Verse:] I guess I was wrong I just don't belong But then, I've been there before And everything is alright I'll just say goodnight And I'll show myself to the door I didn't mean to cause a big scene Just wait 'til I finish this glass Then sweet little lady I'll head back to the bar And you can kiss my ass ******************************************************** ~ I'm Southern, I am polite. Who You Are
Come to send Not condescend Trancendental consesquence Yes to transcend Where we are Who are we Who we are Trampled marks, on your souls Changes all, youre a part Seen it all, not at all Cant defend Fucked up men See before i, before we leave Circumstance, grabbing hands Guidin winds have been stamped Off the track, in the mud Thats a must If were to remember Just a little time Before we leave Stoplight plays its part So I will say, youve got a heart Whats your part Who you are You are who Who you are the elements they speak to me |

Three thirty in the morning,
Not a soul in sight, The city's lookin' like a ghost town On a moonless summer night. Raindrops on the windshield, There's a storm moving in. He's headin' back from somewhere That he never should have been. And the thunder rolls. And the thunder rolls. Every light is burnin' In a house across town. She's pacin' by the telephone In her faded flannel gown. Askin' for miracle, Hopin' she's not right, Prayin' it's the weather That's kept him out all night. And the thunder rolls. And the thunder rolls. (chorus) The thunder rolls And the lightnin' strikes. Another love grows cold On a sleepless night, As the storm blows on Out of control Deep in her heart The thunder rolls. She's waitin' by the window When he pulls into the drive She rushes out to hold him Thankful he's alive But on the wind and rain A strange new perfume blows And the lightnin' flashes in her eyes And he knows that she knows And the thunder rolls And the thunder rolls *chorus* (third verse) She runs back down the hallway To the bedroom door She reaches for the pistol Kept in the dresser drawer Tells the lady in the mirror He won't do this again Cause tonight will be the last time She'll wonder where he's been ******************************************************** ~ I'm Southern, I am polite.
