OK, about a week ago I mentioned that I had an assignment for English and that I needed the lyrics to Hard times. I had shown it to my teacher and she said it's not what she wanted. But keep in mind to do that song next semester. She said she wanted a song that was also a story. I went back and picked the song Fallen by Rob. The problem I have is she also wants the rhyme scheme for example ABABBA with each line. My problem is I don't know how that works and I have to do it through out the song. I was hoping that someone knows what I'm talking about and how to do it because I sure don't.

If I got it right (I`m not sure though), then she wants you to catch the rhymes, maybe this way

Well there's a woman sittin' on the floor A
She wonders what she's here for A
There's a needle sittin' by the door A

There's a woman with a hand to god B
She's praying for redemption C
Her baby's crying, she says D
How you gonna be somebody E

I`m not sure, but that`s the way I understood it.

Is it AAA BCDE althrough the song, like a repeat?

I don`t think so... But I`m really not sure, if I got it right...
I just looked at the last words of the line. If they rhyme, they get the same letter, if they don`t I just follow the alphabet... Maybe you ask your teacher how she meant it, so you would be on the safe side
