yes ladies - i'm still around. been reading daily, just no posting. i'm behind in saving pics too - a dangerous thing in this thread because you just get lost if you don't keep up

this week has been challenging with tara home out of school, but i have been working lots. got my first paycheck today too! almost as much as i made in two weeks at the hospital, for only 4 days last week! i'm very much looking forward to the next 'full' paycheck!

hey angie - can you give me some tips as far as hotels and scheduling for this disney premiere thing in may? i am not giving up that dream, esp not after how much fun we had last sunday! i want more info so i know what to check into and what to avoid. thanks!

Hey Ladies! Happy Saturday.

A, my California friends always take care of that part for me. I do know that there is a hotel shortage around Disneyland this year because there's a huge urologist convention at the same time as the premiere. The hotel we stayed at last year was totally booked & the back-up we use had one room left when my friend called, so she snatched it up. That was nearly a month ago.

I'd say your best bet will be to get online & start looking for hotels as close to Anaheim as you can get. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I can also tell you that Disneyland will open at 6:30 a.m. on the day of the premiere & you'll want to be there before then. We got there at 6:45 a.m. last year & there were already people lining almost the entire carpet. We found out later that about 5000 people had camped outside of the park the night before!
