Johnny will be David Letterman's guest tonight on the Late Show (so will Megan Fox).

Anyway - I saw this the other day and thought - I've got to give this a try - I've loved this man for 20 something years and this may just be my only shot to actually meet him. I arrived at the theater around 9:30am this morning and I actually wasn't the first person there but I guess there were about 10 people. I made friends with a few of the girls there and we became a team - us against the evil ebayers. LOL The good thing was we were at the front of barrier and right across from the stage door that we knew that Johnny would be using.

It was actually the first day in ages that it didn't rain so that was a major plus but summer finally decided to show up and it was a bit humid and hot out. A little uncomfortable at times especially when it started to get crowded but bearable. Anything for Johnny! =)

Megan arrived first and they closed off the block for her car - there were a slew of photogs there and she posed for them which gave me the chance to get a few pictures as well. She also signed a bit for the fans but stopped short of my group. grrr (later)

Johnny showed up about 15 minutes later (4:15pm). OMG I just couldn't believe that he was right in front of me. He was running late so he didn't sign anything at that point but promised that he'd do so on his way out. God he was so gorgeous in person. I had my hands full but managed to wave to him before he went in and he smiled and waved back! Johnny was true to his word - he came back out and signed for everyone. This was a little crazy as I was in front which was great but everyone behind me was flinging there stuff around and over my head for his autograph. I felt like the barrier was going to tip over and we were being pushed so much. Jerry (Johnny's bodyguard )did try to help by flipping these pieces up and out of our faces but they just kept at it. I had a Rolling Stones mag for Johnny to sign but with being pushed couldn't seem to get it turned around for Johnny and he almost missed me. I said wait - I've waited 20 years for this moment please don't forget me - LOL was a bit desperate. He looked at me - that man has great eye contact - took hold of my arm and said Awww Sweetie thank you so much that means so much and continued to hold my arm while he signed my magazine. I thanked him and even though he now was moving on he still stopped and looked me in the eye again and said No, thank you! OMG - I am still on cloud nine. Can't believe I actually met him.

Megan actually posed some more for the paps and then we got her to come back over and sign some stuff for us.

Some pictures are up on Getty and Wireimage - would love to find some w/out the watermarks.

It was a long day but oh so worth it!
