Was at the movies last night and saw the trailer for Public Enemies. That's definitely one I'll be seeing. Besides Johnny as Dillinger it's got Christian Bale in it.

BTW - JD lovers. Do you know anything about this Rocky Horror Picture Show rumour involving Johnny? I'm taking it's just that *crossing fingers actually* but thought you ladies might know.

The Doors doco would be great to see too.

Sorry if this was mentioned already(I haven't read all the back posts). Has anyone heard anything about the new version of Dark Shadows (a gothic melodramatic soap opera from the late 60's)that he is supposed to be working on? It seems he has always wanted to play Barnanbas Collins, and now he might be getting his chance. I hope so, I think he would make a great Barnabas!

I would love the rumour to be true about Rocky Horror

There's rumours that Dark Shadows is due to start filming 2010, i don't know if that's true or not, but i'm hoping Johnny will be playing Barnabas sometime soon i'd love to see that

Public Enemies to debut at LA FIlm Festival
With 200 features, shorts and music videos from 30 countries, Film Independent unveiled details for the 15th Los Angeles Film Festival, taking place June 18 - 28. New to this year’s narrative and documentary competitions are international premieres along with world and U.S. debuts.

This year’s narrative and documentary competitions include eight world premieres and three U.S. premieres. Director Michael Mann’s action-thriller, “Public Enemies” will screen as LAFF’s Centerpiece premiere. The film stars Johnny Depp, Christian Bale, and Academy Award(R) winner Marion Cotillard in the story of legendary Depression-era outlaw John Dillinger (Depp).

Found some old articles online about the Rocky Horror stuff. Was on Youtube when I saw peeps talking about it though. Apparently Marilyn Manson was mentioned too. Possibly MTV were making it. Lots of conjecture and stuff but as I had never heard of it before I was all

Been awhile since I've had the time to get in here. Things have changed, I see LOL.

I had very large thoughts about all of you last Sunday when I went to the movies to see Wolverine. There was a lovely trailer for PE. I about flew out of my seat hehe. Johnny does that to me every time.

Yes, his The Man Who Killed Don Quixote was stopped back in 2000, but Gilliam had to abandon the project following a freak storm that ruined some equipment and co-star Jean Rochefort got sick. But re-launching the project wasn't just as easy as returning in a few years; Gilliam first had to win the rights back from an insurance company that wrested it away on behalf of the investors following the first failed attempt to make it.

And this week, Gilliam told reporters that he has reached an agreement for Johnny Depp to return to the film.
