Johnny Depp narrates 'The Doors' documentary
'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor Johnny Depp will turn narrator for a new documentary on the iconic rock and roll band 'The Doors'.Johnny Depp will be narrating 'When You're Strange' a documentary about the 60's band which had rock legend Jim Morrison as it's lead singer.
The film which got good reviews at the Sundance film festival will now get another boost with Depp's participation.
An announcement about the decision to add Depp's voice to the project is expected to be made at the Berlin Film Festival, the Los Angeles Times reported.

*sigh* another chance to just listen to johnny's beautiful, sexy voice. lol

Any opportunity to hear his voice is a good thing and i love The Doors

PE Trailer due to be released on 4th March

'Sweeney Todd' leads Empire noms
Sweeney Todd has picked up five nominations at the 2009 Empire Awards.

Tim Burton's adaptation of the hit stage musical, which casts Johnny Depp as the titular Fleet Street barber, has been recognised in the best actor (for Depp), actress (Helena Bonham Carter) director, soundtrack and horror categories.

The Jameson Empire Awards 2009, to be hosted by Dara O'Briain, takes place on Sunday, March 29 at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.

i'm SO glad you posted this ... my daughter saw it yesterday and told me about it. i haven't had the time to go watch yet and kept thinking about it, knowing it needed to be posted here. so, thanks to you, now it is! :-)
