hiya, fellow JDer's

much like jenn, i've been insanely busy lately too - still working toward a fast-approaching closing date for our house. actually, it's supposed to be next monday (15th) but i am not sure we can get everything finished up this week ... but *fingers crossed* maybe we won't have to push it back again.
right now, i am holding my breath on the appraisal - i hope we can get enough in the appraisal to be able to do the improvements that i want to do! i'm pretty sure we will be able to do the kitchen, but it's adding the second bath that has me worried. i might have to scale back the plans, but i hope we don't have to scrap that project altogether!

the bad thing is that my parents will be leaving in a couple of weeks and i was really counting on my mom being here for at least a month more to help us get moved in and help me with the decorating! looks like i might be all on my own.

no johnny movies for me lately, or in the foreseeable future - but once we are moved in and settled, i plan to have a mini-marathon in my very own house!! and you are ALL invited!!

It's been quite busy here too, it looks like things are finally moving along with the take over of the house from my husband Ian, and i've received the notification of divorce proceedings too.
Finally!! lol we've only been split up 4 years lol
But went to the mortgage people today to find out how we go about things, how much is owing on the mortgage etc and i'm pleased to say it's all do-able *phew* I can relax a little bit now

And on the johnny front - Johnny has won a 2008 National Movie Award in the Category of Performance Male for Sweeney Todd. So congrats Johnny

I'm just so glad things are finally moving along as it's not been much fun living in limbo land the last 4 years. And it's good to finally know i'm not going to lose my home that i've lived in for nearly 14 years or been forced to sell
