Yeah apparently they apply it to the area and leave it for a while to work, then the pain is reduced. Some don't believe in using it, which i guess it's each to their own LOL
Some tattoo studios use it and for the ones who don't some people buy their own.     *Deb* |

 Johnny and Terry are taking a second shot at making The Man Who Killed Don Quixote seven years after the film was aborted in 2001 after just five days of shooting. One source close to the revived project,who asked not to be named, said: "They are having another crack at it after putting a deal together. Johnny is a bigger star now than he was then, thanks to the Pirates of the Caribbean, and there is every confidence they can pull it off." Ownership of the script has now returned to Gilliam. After playing a pirate in “Pirates of the Caribbean” series, versatile Hollywood actor Johnny Depp is set to play the Mad Hatter in the film version of “Alice in Wonderland”. Thesun.co.uk reports the movie will be shot in 3D and Depp teams up with his friend and collaborator, director Tim Burton. The two have worked together on six movies. A source said: “Burton has had designs on ‘Alice In Wonderland’ since before he was famous. He has a knack for turning what seem like stories for just kids into gripping, spooky fables loved just as much by adults. He’s held out on doing ‘Alice’ till he got a big enough budget. Now this film is financed by Disney so money won’t be a problem.” Unknown actress Mia Wasikowska will play Alice. I was so pleased to read about the film too, I think even Johnny joked about playing Alice LOL
Can't wait to hear more about this project especially as it's Tim and Johnny reunited again, and i'm betting Johnny's Mad hatter will be great *Deb* |

my thought is that johnny playing alice may have actually been discussed at some point in time - but with disney being the backer for the film, they're not about to jeopardize their captain jack persona, so there's no way they would let johnny play alice. LOL!
however, one can always hope for some blooper/behind-the-scenes goofing around on the DVD. That's very true, and you could imagine some of the conversations that would take place about him playing Alice, after some of the things they said to him over Captain Jack LOL
I love bonus features just as much as the films, especially bloopers. I would have liked to have seen some of the Sweeney and the Sleepy Hollow bloopers *Deb* |

Another piece of news Johnny has been approached to play The Riddler in the sequel to The Dark Knight according to studio bosses. A source said: "Johnny would be amazing as The Riddler. The studio knew they needed someone who could match or even top the late actor Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker in the most recent film 'The Dark Knight', and think Johnny has the potential to do so." just thought i would share:
watching the teen choice awards tonite. no clue even who is nominated for anything - but when they were getting ready to announce the male actor award, they mentioned that previous winners included "johnny depp ...." and the crowd went wild and i couldn't even hear the next couple of names over the screams! LOL *eta* johnny DID, in fact, win an award. obviously, he wasn't there, and they just announced it as a list of several awards that weren't actually "presented" as part of the show. he won best movie villian for "sweeney todd" ... johnny ALWAYS wins the awards that are voted on by the people. the critics may not adore him, but the rest of the "real world" obviously does!
