(((Brigi))) Thank you. I can't wait to get through this week. Poor guy is terrified of having another surgery and the only way he knows how to deal with it is to be mad at me. It's hard.

Oh my God! That is horrifying. I truly hope and pray that your son gets well soon. I can't imagine watching this happen. Was there any investigation done on this accident?

It was horrifying. I think about it in my sleep...when I sleep. I am having a really hard time getting past it. Yes there is a pending investigation...though it may take months as they have sent the cable off for analysis to determine why it failed. This happened on the 3rd day of our Disneyland vacation. We were to spend 3 more days at Disney..but instead spent 2 days in the hospital and flew home early. I am so saddened that this was my children's first visit to Disney and now this is the memory we are left with. On top of the fact that my family now has NO desire to visit any theme park again.

No no no...this happened at Knotts Berry Farm...we were doing 6 days at Disney and 1 day at KBF. The people at Disney were wonderful. Asking my parents if they need anything..my parents and daughter had to stay at the hotel while my husband and I stayed at the hospital as the Children's hospital wouldn't allow anyone else upstairs because of the swine flu.

I cannot imagine having to watch a family member go through this

Anita, I am wishing your son a speedy and full recovery and hope he'll soon understand why he has to undergo surgery. And I also hope you will be able to forget what you saw eventually.
