IT DOES WORK!!!!! Coming from a woman who lived thru the 70's and is still alive!!!!!!!!!!!!! Barack Obama is the best thing to hit the U.S. in....I don't know how long. I'm SOOOO excited for the future. Haven't felt that way in at least 8 years.

WHAT IF..

Obama/Biden vs McCain/Palin, what if things were switched around?

.......think about it.

Would the country's collective point of view be different? Could racism be the culprit? Yes, if Obama was white, he would have dropped out about the same time as the other white males.

Ponder the following:

What if the Obama had paraded five children across the stage, including a three month old infant and an unwed, pregnant teenage daughter? Palin is a woman who just had a baby. She is entitled to “parade” her family across the stage. Her daughter did get pregnant at age 17. This is not much different than Obama’s mother who had him while not married to his father & while she was young. At least Palin lives by her pro-life convictions.

What if John McCain was a former president of the Harvard Law Review? Do you really have any idea what this means? What qualifications are required for this position?

What if Barack Obama finished fifth from the bottom of his graduating class? We really have no idea how well Obama did in school because everything was sealed. We do know from his own books that while he was in college he was trying every drug that was available & hanging out with very radical people.


What if McCain had only married once and Obama was a divorcee? McCain is 72, Obama is only 47. Let’s see if Obama makes it to age 72 with Michelle.

What if Obama was the candidate who left his first wife after a severe disfiguring car accident, when she no longer measured up to his standards? You fail to mention that he had just returned from being a prisoner of war for 5 ½ years. This type of experience tends to change people. Over 50% of Americans end up getting divorced.

What if Obama had met his second wife in a bar and had a long affair while he was still married? Who would blame him/

What if Michelle Obama was the wife who not only became addicted to pain killers but also acquired them illegally through her charitable organization? Michelle was the wife who was proud to be an American for the first time, when her husband pulled ahead in the Democratic primary. Her graduate thesis was full of anti-white rhetoric. What if Cindy McCain had penned an anti-black manuscript?

What if Cindy McCain graduated from Harvard? The main stream media would twist it to make it sound like a bad thing.

What if Obama had been a member of the Keating Five?
(The Keating Five were five United States Senators accused of corruption in 1989, igniting a major political scandal as part of the larger Savings and Loan crisis of the late 1980s and early 1990s.) Obama had his own little scandal with a real estate tycoon. He purchased his current home below market value on the same day that Tony Rezko purchased the adjoining lot above market value. A portion of Rezko’s lot was then sold to Obama for a reduced price to make his lot bigger, rendering the Rezko lot unsuitable for building a house. Obama released this info calling it a “boneheaded move” on the same Friday afternoon that the Rev. Wright fiasco hit the main stream media. McCain did not personally profit from the Keating incident. There was a full investigation which exonerated McCain & John Glenn. There will not be an investigation into Obama’s scandal, all his sins are conveniently buried.

What if McCain was a charismatic, eloquent speaker? He probably would have won the election, because his policies were certainly more stable & better for our country. Unfortunately, he really lacks charisma.

What if Obama couldn't read from a teleprompter? He would umm & aaah his way through every public appearance the same way he does when a teleprompter is not available.

What if Obama was the one who had military experience that included discipline problems and a record of crashing seven planes?
What if Obama had ANY military record? He would view the war differently and might understand what happened with the surge. He might even have been able to admit that the surge worked.

What if Obama was the one who was known to display publicly, on many occasions, a serious anger management problem?
What if Obama displayed the ability to make a tough decision and did not vote “Present” whenever it was not politically expedient to take a stand on an issue. You don’t display anger when you are always making sure you sit on the fence politically.
We never saw this terrible anger management problem at any time during the 2 year campaign.

What if Michelle Obama's family had made their money from beer distribution? This money was all legally acquired. If it was Michelle’s family, the media would have made that specific beer the best seller of all time. We’d have to hear how her family had worked hard & beat the odds to become successful business people. The family would be portrayed as exemplifying what can happen if you work hard – you achieve the American dream.


What if the Obama's had adopted a white child? This would never happen. Read Michelle’s thesis (anti-white). Listen to the pastor of the church where Obama spent 20 years (anti-white). The race card was only played by Obama & his campaign. “They’re going to say I don’t look like the other Presidents on the dollars . . .”

You could easily add to this list. If these questions reflected reality, do you really believe the election numbers would be as close as they are? If Obama was white, he never would have won the Democratic primary. Geraldine Ferraro was absolutely right on the money with her remarks.

This is what racism does. It covers up, rationalizes and minimizes positive qualities in one candidate and emphasizes negative qualities in another when there is a color difference. Our entire society bent over backwards to dismiss every single negative thing that was associated with Obama. The mainstream media is so bent on turning Obama into some kind of God-like figure. They are comparing him to FDR & JFK before he has even been sworn into office. He may or may not turn out to be a good President, only time will tell. But to cherry pick information & try to make racism an issue is total BS. I hope it works out for him, but I for one am sick and tired of hearing about how racism was a negative factor for Obama. He is without a doubt our first affirmative action President.

We could what if many other items:
What if Katie Couric interviewed Barrack Obama for two hours, then edited the interview to the candidate’s weakest 10 minutes? What if the mainstream media played the footage of Obama stating that he had already campaigned in 57 states and had two more to go. What if the media treated Obama’s partial solution to high gas prices – inflating our tires & tuning up our cars – as the dumb ass comments that they really were? What if Charlie Gibson interviewed Obama and asked him about something that does not exist “the Bush Doctrine” – All the major news organizations came up with 4 potential descriptions of what might be called a Bush Doctrine. Yet Gibson sat there & condescendingly worked Palin over & tried to make her look stupid.


What if Obama had been a mayor of a small town then served on the state’s energy commission and eventually went on to serve as the state’s governor? The media would have emphasized all of his executive experience, his successful management of multi-billion dollar budgets and supervision of thousands of employees.

What if Obama had ever accomplished anything- written a piece of legislation or managed anything?
What if Palin wasn’t a woman?

She is smarter than most Americans think. She burst onto the scene & McCain went ahead of Obama in the polls for the first time. The MSM went on the attack & did everything they could to tear her down. They had invested everything in having Obama win. They were not going to let some woman come in and out-charisma “The One”

Most Americans are very uninformed & vote based upon what the media tells them. Many Obama supporters could not tell reporters even one policy that Obama stood for. That would be a tough question to answer though because he flipped on just about every issue between the primary & the general election.

From today’s news :
Obama is a product of the deeply corrupt Illinois political machine. Have we ever heard him emphatically point the finger at its moral failings? No. Was his gut reaction to chastise his pastor, spiritual mentor and “uncle” Reverend Wright for white hate, sexism and anti-American rants? Nope. Has he called for disgraced Congressman Charlie Rangel to step down from his powerful committee chairmanship? Not once. It took him days to denounce Blago and when he did he was “saddened.” His response to Richardson? More melancholy. –This is the future office of the presidency not a Hallmark “After School” special!
Does this make Obama a criminal? Not technically. But it is criminal, and cowardly, that he is not standing up to these offenders.
By locking the door and pulling down his shades when trouble arises, Obama reveals his ambivalence to ethics and an obvious aversion to conflict. When the going gets tough, the tough…are bummed? Obama doesn’t represent change at all. He represents emotional impotence.
Obama’s victory wasn’t a vote against the GOP. But it also wasn’t a re-alignment of the country to the center left, either. It was a vote against the incumbent(s). Obama wasn’t part of a political dynasty or related to a former political power player. He was billed as an outsider and the mainstream media ignored any questions about his past that might have revealed any sort of a shady past. He was packaged and sold to the American public as a politician who was immune to impropriety. Now we know he’s just unwilling to stop or stand up to it.
For all the pretty language Obama fed us during his campaign about change, things have only gotten worse. And we’re still weeks away from his actual inauguration and the beginning of unilateral Democratic control of Congress. In the meantime, America continues to tune in to the show “Pay to Play,” filled with Democratic debauchery, hoping desperately, for the sake of the nation, that this is one show that won’t be renewed for another season.
