_{WhileI was chilling at her place the house phone kept ringing. I looked at the caller ID. and realized it was her parents. I decided that the best was to go about it was to turn the ringers off. So I did. I walked into the kitchen and made my self a small sandwich. I looked around. There were a few marks on the floors and on the walls. I shook my head and cut off all the lights I turned the TV. down because I heard car doors slam. I heard a man and a woman do I turned it completely off. I was hoping that they didn’t have a Key. When they started to bang I let out a sigh of relief. When the banging stopped I looked out the window. I was them getting into their car drive away. Her parents were going to have to wait. After what she told me last night about what happened I don’t think she wants to talk to them any time soon. I turned the TV back on and put the volume on low just incase someone else came. A hour later Diaiarah came in the house looking amazing her long hair was in loose curls. I smiled as she walked past me modeling.
“Girl you better work” I said and she laughed.
“So how do you like the house?” She asked me sitting next to me.
“Well its okay except you had a few visitors.” I said.
“Who?” She asked sipping a drink she had brought in.
“You parents. They called like five billion times and then the banged on the door like a million times.” I said.
“You didn’t answer did you?” She asked me.
“Do I really look that stupid” I said and she laughed.
“So how was your day so far?” She asked me.
“Pretty nice I watched TV all day. And what about your self beautiful?” I asked her.
“Well I got my hair done and I went to subway and got a sandwich and this drink.” She said,
“So what happened to the food?” I asked her.
“Oh I ate it.” She said and I shook my head at her.
“As always” I said and she giggled.
“So what you want for lunch?” She asked me.
“Nothing baby girl I’m fine.” I said smiling.
Her cell phone began to ring and the look on her face let me know it was her husband.
“Hello?” She said placing her finger to her lips signaling me to be quiet. I nodded my head and she continued her conversation.
“What you doing baby?” He asked her on speakerphone.
“Nothing watching TV just got back from getting my hair done.” She said with a sad face.
“Who you trying to look for. Aye man if I find out that you cheating on me man I’m going to burn you alive you go that” He yelled into the phone and she jumped. My jaw clenched, I wanted to say something so bad, But I let her cut the call loose. Tears fell from her yes and she looked at me. I walked over t her and gave her a hug. She cried into my shoulder. I rubbed her back. We went up stairs I laid her down on the bed and gave her a massage. She moaned softly. I smiled and she turned over and looked at me. She sat up next to me and laid her head on my shoulder.
“I just wish things were different.” She said.
“Me to like I wish you were still mine. We would be married and you have never had to experience this kind of pain.” I said pouring my heart to her..
“You still feel that way about me Farren?” She asked me.
I sat her head up and looked her in the eyes.
“Diairah. You were my first love my first sexual experience. You were my world baby and I would do anything in the world to get that back.” I said to her. The tears began to for in my eyes but I quickly blinked them back just as I had in the jail cell and at rehab.
“I cant believe you still love me after all this time” She said.
I touched her cheek. I brought her face close to mines. I looked her In the eyes. But she looked away. I knew what she was thinking and I didn’t want to be the reason or cause of death for her. So I let her face go and went to use the bathroom.
“I love you to Farren.” I heard her whisper to my back as I closed the door.}
