Hard rain dropped from the clouds above, hiding the sorrowful tears of the young man standing silently in the middle of a nearly empty parking lot. What he had just witnessed left him speechless and heartbroken. The rain drenched his body forcing the dingy wife beater to cling to his muscles and his designer jeans to hang heavy. His stare was constant and his eyes never left her body. Bruised and lifeless, she lay on the concrete, her blood recently washed away with the intense downpour. His only reason for living , his first and last love , was gone and it was his fault. “ If she had never met me , she would still be alive “ , the words floated through his mind repeatedly as if they had the power to reverse time and alter reality. He knew there was nothing he could do now but he felt that he had to do something other than cry. Emotions surged through his body until the red and blue lights began to flash in his peripheral. They would blame him, of this he was certain. He was guilty of the situation , but was innocent of the action. He knew who did it ,but he wasn`t going to hand them over to the cops , oh no, he had other plans. Malice and vengeance resided in his heart, no more tears, only hatred could be read in his hazel – ish eyes. » rәlеαsеd ™﴿
