When I walked through the door there was silence.I was very relieved to find out i was home alone.My sister was out with her friends doing whatever it was that she wanted and my mother and her no good as drug dealing boyfriend was gone as well.Whenever My motherwas here its not like we exchanged that many words anyway so even if she was here it will be the same as if she wasnt.The only thing i couldnt stand was the fact that all she did was stay up in her room with her boyfriend and get high.Now dont get me wrong my mother wasnt always that way it sorta crept up on her.Soon as she met himthats when everything changed.He had her mind all twisted up it the only thing that mattered to her was keeping him happy and shoving a pipe down her throat.But luckily for me i would be free from that for awhile and i planned to enjoy my time alone.
I went up to my room and went in to my connecting bathroom and relaxed in the tub.I had time to pull my thought together and think about how my life was going.Once i got out of the tub i put on my booty shorts and my beater.Once i was dressed i headed down stairs where i came face to face with Sean sitting on the couch in his boxers.Once he saw me he took notice of what i was wearing and looked me up and down.I could feel the dirty stares he gave my body so i decided to speak up.

Ja'miyah:Oh im sorry i didnt know anyone was here,im just gonna go back up 2 my room.

Even as i turned to leave i could feel his eyes roaming all over my barely covered body.

Once i made it to my room i began to change.I had my back facing the door so i hadent noticed that someone had entered until i felt cold lips on my neck.The coldness caused me jump.

I quickly pulled my shirt back down when i realized Sean was standing infront of me.

Ja'miyah:Sean what are u doing in here im changing.

Sean:Why,i didnt find anything wrong wih what u had on.

Jamiyah:WHat?(not sure if she heard him correctly)
(shakes her head) look U need to leave.

Sean just stood there as if she was speaking another language.

Ja'miyah:Fine then i'll leave.

She made her way to the door but Sean grabbed the back of her neck and slammed her down on her bed. She screamed for him to get off of her as she tried to free herself from his tight grip.He held her arms down with one and and pulled her shorts down with the other.He roughly shoved himself inside of her ignoring her plea for him to stop.He was taking her virginity,her innocence and there was nothing she could do to stop him.He kept going in and out in and out and she screamed and hollered.She bit his arm and he loosened his grip alil but he wasnt going to let her get away without a fight,he slapped her and shoved himself back inside of her.After 10 mins of violating her he came on her leg and collasped on top of her.All she could do was cry and wait for it to be over.After a minute he finally got up and when he finally did she rushed to her door,slammed it and then locked.She cried silently to herself not believing what just happened.She felt dirty and used she had to get rid of this feeling.She rushed to the bathroom and got in the shower.She let the water beat on her skin as she scrubbed and scrubbed until her skin turned red.She just wanted to wash away that dirty feeling but after awhile she realized that no matter how much she scrubbed she could never wash away how she felt on the inside.

She got out of the shower and wrapped herself in a towel.As she stood infront of the bathroom sink she stared back at her reflection.

How could this have happened.What did i do to deserve this.All my life ive known nothing but pain and heart ache.Living with a mother that loves drugs more then she loves you really hurts.Ive raised myself and my sister more then she has.I remember nights where ive seen her passed out with a pipe in her hand and every time i see her face that image pops into my head.I just feel like i cant take all of this pain ay more.None of my friends really know or understnd me so its hard to keep all of this bottled up inside. The only nway i can stop these feelings is to end this pain once and for all.

She opened the medicine cabinet and grabbed a bottle of sleeping pills.She read the warning over na dover again.*WARNING* NEVER TAKE MORE THEN 1 AT A TIME.She debated with herself rather or not she should go through with it.After a minute of thinking she opened the bottle and took out 6 pills.After 3 mins she felt nothing.She figured it didnt work so she went back into her room and sat in her room.After awhie she began to feel dizzy so she got back up and went to the bathroom.She splashed water onto her face and right after she did that she blacked out.


Chelsea came home and rushed into her room.She really needed to use the bathroom so she quickly dropped all of her things on the floor and headed to the connecting bathroom in between her room and Jamiyahs.When she walked in she saw her sister passed out on the floor with a bottle of sleeping pills next to her.All she could think 2 do was scream.Chelsae ran downstairs as fast as she could and collided with her mother.

Janet:Gurl what is up with all that screaming and hollering in my house.

Chelsea:MA its Jamiyah.She..she...(she just burst into tears)

Janet:Chelsea what?(shaking her)(she grew with concern)

CHelsea:Shes...shes...in the bathroom.(she could barely breathe lat alone try to talk)

Chelsea and her mother quickly went to the bathroom and Janet(mother)Let out a scream as she dropped to her knees and cried.

Janet:Oh my god what happened?

Chelsea:I dont know.(crying as well)

Janet: Dont just stand there call the ambulance.

Chelsea quickly made her way downstairs to do as she was told.


5 hours later*

As Iwoke up i blinked my eyes repeatedly to try and gain focus of my surroundings.As i looked around i noticed i was in a hospital then i looked to my arm and noticed there was an iv in it.I didnt even remember how i got here.I tried to sit up but quickly layed back down as pain shot through my head.Then i realized why i was here.I looked across the room and saw my mother my sister and Sean asleep in a few chairs that were lined up against the wall.I couldnt even believe he had enough balls to show up after what he did to me.Just as i was starting to get mad again i heard my mothers voice say "Shes awake".

Janet walked over to Jamiyah and sat beside her on her bed and held her hand.

Janet:Are u ok sweety?

Jamiyah:Um in fine i guess.

Janet:U sure u dont need anything?

Jamiyah:Yes.

Janet:Ok well if your ok i have just one question,What the hell were u thinking?Do u have any idea what this is going to cost me.We dont have money to just waste on stupid shit.

Jamiyah was caught off guard by her mothers harsh statements.

Jamiyah:what?

Janet: Dont what me u heard me.Now i gotta use the money that i planned to use on other things on this bullshit.

Jamiyah:The money u planned to get high with.(she said it with much attitude)

Janet:What?Lil gurl u are skating on thin ice u better watch your damn mouth.U are so lucky we are in a hospital or id slap the shit outta u.I'll handle your ass at home.(with that said she walked away with Sean following after her)

All the screaming and hollering woke everyone up.

Chelsea:Jamiyah.

Jamiyah turned to face her.

Chelsea smiled and wrapped her arms around her.

Chelsea:Oh my god u scared me.

Jamiyah:im sorry.

CHelsea:Its ok but i just want to know why.Why would u try to kill yourself?
