Hi PR board. I`m Shada' and I was on here before but I lost my account because my computer broke and unfortunately I had to delete everything. But yeah anyway I need some advice. See my bestfriend is feeling like she is ugly and lately she has been down. I try and make her feel better but she`s been annoying me with the way she has been acting. It`s like ever since she dumped her boyfriend she has no life, she doesn't go out any more, except for school and work, she isn`t social or anything. She is becoming boring, I don`t even call her or speak to her hardly any more b/c I know she won`t have a convo. with me like she used to. It`s really getting to me and I just need to know what to do. I`ve never been in this situation before maybe one of you have.

Yeah lately that`s all she has had. It`s hard for me b/c I`m so used to doing things with her like shopping and going places now I`ll still go with my other bff`s but it`s not the same w/o her. But I guess I just have to wait.

don't overstep your boundaries.
breakups are HORRIBLE and it's probably killing her.
& sometimes, you have to go inward with problems.

but with that said;
you do need to try to get her out of her hole.
but not too much.
don't pressure/force her to do anything.

just invite her places, speak to her.
make sure she knows you're still her bestie
and whenever she needs you, you're there.

True i have even been in that position.
I used to get really depressed with my looks
Especially because i grew up with alot of males.
And both my 2 good friends were very pretty.

I was always down and i hated going out, especially with them.
The best thing i can say is, talk to her. Just let her know that you are there.
Dont force anything upon her because she is gonna feel that you are pressuring her.
After a while it will get to a point where she will see everything differently and begin to change.
Just be there to talk to her and be the friend she needs

I do try and invite her places but it`s like she is in a cocoon and doesn`t want to come out. She did go with me to the movies last weekend only b/c her mom forced her too and she was so quiet the whole time. I don`t even remember her sitting next to me. I want to be there for her but it`s hard b/c I`m caught up in so much other stuff but she is my bestie. As a matter fact I think I`ll try to talk to her tomorrow hopefully she`ll listen.

Aww I`m sorry you felt that way. I`m glad you are better though. I try and talk to her but it`s like when we are together she`ll cut me off or just be like "not now Shada'" I do make an effort but I`m just tired. I love my bestie and I`m always going to be there for her but she is really going through a thing.
