Setting: The Wild Side (a men’s store in a mall somewhere in Florida)

Diamond: So they belong to her (point to Jade with his eyes still pinned on Nia)
Jade: No Sir! Jade hasn’t got no children, and isn’t trying to have none neither.
Diamond: Well if they’re not hers who they belong to Nia?
Niawith a big sigh) they belong to me

Nia T.O.T.
I knew this was bound to happen one day. I know everyone would like to know what in the world is going on so I will tell you. Right now I am standing in front of my baby daddy. He has no idea that these are his children. I’ve been hiding from and avoiding all who knew me for about two years so my secret wouldn’t get out. I guess I got you kind of confused huh? Well then I might as well tell you “How It All Got This Way”. Okay what yall think?

[color:Beige]Part 1 ~Going to California~

Phantasia (Tasia): Where you think you going?
Nia: Away from you and this stinking life I have (picks up her bags and opens the door)
Tasia: (grabbing her arm casing the bags to fall) What you mean away from me? You need to calm that down and NOW!
Nia: (picks up her falling bags and runs out the house) Jamaris I have to go Big-bro. I can’t stay here anymore.

(Puts things in the trunk and goes back in for more)
Tasia: I’m confused. Help a brother out why don’t you.
Nia: look if I stay here in Florida with you I will never fulfill my dreams.
Tasia: What you mean? You got everything you’ve ever wanted and more right here with me. (picks up two heavy bags and puts them in the trunk and closes it) I mean you’re smart, beautiful, got a good job, everybody likes you and you’re rich so I don’t see what’s bothering you.
Nia: I wouldn’t expect you too. (Pause) Look I went out for this job in CA. working as the choreographer and dancer for Pretty Ricky; I got it so I’m moving to the west coast.
Tasia: Oh! I get it now. Yea so your dream is coming true huh? My sis is growing up. (Hugs her)
Nia: Yep you could say that. (Laughs a little) So are you going to take me to the airport or what?
Tasia: Yea I guess. Jamaris goes in the house and locks up. He and Nia hop in his silver Yukon and head out to the airport

~In the car~
Tasia: So are you going to be staying at the house or in the condo?
Nia: The house, it’s centrally located with the places I will be going to.
Tasia: Okay, and what about transportation Lil’One?
Nia: You haven’t called me that in forever, but I think I’ll just buy something when I get out there.
Tasia: (pulling up to the unloading area of the terminal)

That sounds good He helps Nia get her stuff out and checked. They were glad they had gotten there early since the airport was so packed. They finally got through and waited for Nia’s plane to be called.

Announcer: Flight 527 is now boarding at gate 22; flight 527 is now boarding at gate 22!
Nia: (getting up) That’s my flight I guess I should be going.
Tasia: (gives her a hung and kiss on the cheek) You know I’m going to miss you right?
Nia: Yea I know, but I’ll come visit Tasia: you do that and be-safe. Don’t let them niggas out there get you caught up. I’m not trying to have to bust a cap in nobody (they both laugh)
Nia: I won’t I promise (they hug one more time)
Nia heads towards the gate but stops and turns around
Nia: oh yea one more thing.
Tasia: What?
Nia: Get a girl friend!

With that Nia boarded the plane and was off to a new beginning in Sunny California
