About The Story

Adaseia moves in with her half sister Jasmine after her mother dies and has to adjust to life in Atlanta. It is the beginning of 10th grade and things really start to get tough for Charlese and Jasmine as they meet and start hanging out with the wrong crowd && start doing things that they don't normally do. In this story..their friends turn against them and things start to go downhill..At least so they thought..........Time for a real reality check.

Man I really can`t believe that my daddy would make me move to Atlanta when I’ve been in Miami all my life. Just because my mom died doesn’t mean that I have to move down there. He told me that he wants me and my half sister to have a better relationship since we didn’t grow up together but whatever. I hope he don’t think we gone be all close after this cause that’s not gone happen. I can already see whats gone happen; i`m gone get down there and she gone try and be all up in my face but I would just rather be by myself. I don’t need nobody else but myself now that my mom`s dead and gone. I have no one else to love……………



3 hours later


I just got off the plane and I see my half sister Jasmine and my dad looking all smiley. Don’t they know that my mom just died and yet they up here smillin....as far as im concerned there is nothing to be happy about.

Dad- hey adaseia how was your plane ride?
Adaseia- it was ok I guess
Dad- ok well let me get your bags so you can see the house and get settled in
Adaseia – yep
Jasmine- hey adaseia...long time no see girl
Adaseia- yea I knoe
Jasmine-yea well when we get home i`m going to show you the guest room and then we can jus chill
Adaseia- yea wateva

I got in the car silent as hell. I didn`t say a word because I just needed time to think. Things are so messed up right now. I don`t wanna be here man. 20 Minutes later we get to the house and I get out and go in.

Adaseia –(thinking to herself) yeah I guess this is gone be alright. I just wish Jasmine would shut up......

Jasmine- well here is your room and my room is next door so i`ma let u get settled in and then i`ma holla at you
Adaseia- yea ok well I guess I better get unpacked I just hope I don’t have to be here much longer..

After I unpacked I decided to go downstairs and see what they got to eat up in this house. Shit..after dat plane ride I got hungry………I get to the kitchen to see Jasmine making lasagna.

Jasmine-ummm...dinner will be ready in about 30 mins
Adaseia- ok (turns to go back up stairs)
Jasmine- wait...I figured we could talk while the food is cooking
Adaseia- naw I don’t think so...(walks upstairs to her room && shuts the door)
