 ***No cast needed*** Hello my name is Bria im 16 and a model. I live with my step mom Vannessa, my dad Brian, my younger sister Diamond, my younger brother Travis and my older cousin Krystal. I know thats alot of people in one house but hey that's how it is. My mom and my dad split up after I was born and my dad took custody of me. Then I moved down here and he met Vannessa and they got married and had two kids. I never met my mom before and hopfully one day I will. My cousin is staying with us because her mom died when she was younger and she was forced to stay with her abusive dad but she ran away and now she's staying with us. Anyway we just moved back up here to Atlanta from Puerto Rico...My step mom had to get away from here and do some thinking but I guess she's done now I didn't care because it's where im from anyway. We're finally back with my dad and i'm so happy! Speaking of relationships I am currently in one. His name is Lamar, i've been with him for about 3yrs but i'm thinking about leaving him beacause i'm so sick of his games! I think I love him but the way he treats me makes it hard to admit. He beats me when he doesn't get his way, and has even threatened to kill me! But for some reason I just can't let go. It's like I want him but I don't. I'm so confused. Hopefully I after him I will find somebody worth my pain and tears! As I walked in the house I thought I heard people talking. I moved in closer, what I thought was talking was actually moaning and it was coming from my room! I looked around a noticed none of my family was home. "What the hell?" I walked upstairs. "Mmm Lamar baby I love it when you do that!" I put my ear closer to the door creeping up so that nobody would hear me. "That Bastard"! Tears fell down my face as I continued to listen. "Baby you know I’ll only do it for you." "What about Bria?" Tears kept falling, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Lamar never cheated on me before why now? "Shay baby nobody is thinking about her. She don't have nothing on you! I don't care bout her baby all I want is you". "Yea that better be all you want" I couldn't take anymore I busted through the door with a waterfall of tears running down my face. "So is how it is now?" "Ba-ba-bab-baby it’s not what it looks like?" "It looks like you laid up with some hoe in my dads' house?" Shay looked at me like I was crazy and said "Your dads' house? Lamar said it was his!” I looked at him still looking at me with terror in his eyes "I can't believe you Lamar! How could you do this me?” Shay got up and looked at me like she wanted 2 kill me. "Bitch Lamar doesn’t want you. All he wanted was the pussy and apparently you didn't give it up so that dick is mine now...Lamar when you gone leave this hoe??" As I laid there crying I decided to call my cousin Krystal.
"Hola (hello)". "Hey girl what's up?" “Nothing.” We continued to talk until somebody busted through my room door. I quickly hung up the phone throwing it across the room knowing what would happen next. Lamar came running up to me with a devilish look. His face was bight red and pail. I looked up at him with tears in my eyes. "Bitch don't cry now!" I kept my mouth shut knowing that if I said something back my consequences would just get worst. He yanked my head back and told me to look at him. As I looked up he continued on yelling. "Do you know what happens when you make daddy mad?” "Yes baby but-". He yanked me off the bed by my hair. "I don't want to hear a damn but...but what? Your ass was wrong and I taught you better than that. You don't EVER embarrass or disrespect me in any way!" He dragged me by the hair he had in his hand and threw me up against the wall. He repeatedly hit me. I screamed in pain. He told me to shut up or it'll get worse. He continued to beat me. Finally he let me loose. I didn't move from the floor until he told me I could. He picked me up a sat me on the bed. I sat on my bed for a while. I finally got up and started cleaning up. As I cleaned I took a look back in my life to when I first met him.
{Flashback} “How you doing Miss Lady”? I turned around and found a fine, muscular man standing right there. “Um I’m ok and you?” “I’m better now that I met you.” I put a big smile on my face. “Oh ok that’s good.” We talked for a while and exchanged numbers. When I got home he called me and from there I fell in love. {End of Flashback} He’s not the man he use to be. He has changed a lot he never put his hands on me until a year after we started dating. My thoughts were interrupted by the pounding in my head. “Ugh I need to soak in the tub.” I finished up cleaning then I went in the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I had a blackened eye and a purple bruise on my neck. I took off my clothes and examined my body. I had bruises everywhere. I ran the water and let the tub fill up. I got in and soaked my body it felt so good to just relax and be away from Lamar. I was in there for about an hour. I still wonder where everybody is. After I got out I got situated and put on makeup so that nobody would notice the bruises. I laid down and day dreamed until I heard my sisters’ voice. “Hey boo why you look so down”? “Nothing sweetie I’m ok.” She looked at me like she knew I was lying “Ok and Dad wants to see you downstairs he said he has something to tell you.” I replied “Ok.” I walked downstairs and saw my dad sitting on the couch. I sat next to him and I looked at him very suspicious. He looked at me like he was about to confess something. “Baby girl I’m sorry it took me so long to tell you, but I was waiting for the right time and I think you should know.” “Know what dad”? “You’re mom didn’t want me to tell you yet but I told her I had to because we’ve already waited too long.” I was very irritated now because he wasn’t telling me. “Daddy tell me already!” “Ok you have an older brother named Marcus. I was laying down, bored out of my mind still thinking of my brother. I decided to call him, just to get to know him a little.
