 Fresh out of high school and feels great. I looked around the crowds at all of my old classmates and wanted to cry because some I will miss and others good ridden. We all stood outside after graduation all having a good time. Well, except for me. Someone was missing close to me. My parents was talking to some of our relatives, my lil brother was flirting with my friends, and also my best friends. But that person was still missing. Marcus. Where is he? He was suppose to meet me after the ceremony, but he was nowhere to be found. My cousin, Teresa, was talking to my other good friend, Greg, who have been crushing on her for the longest, since our 9th grade to be exact. Greg is an inspiring artist, hoping to make it by soon. I didn’t want to interrupt their little conversation, but I wanted to know have they seen him. “Hey Resa, have you seen Marcus?” I asked “Nope, haven‘t seen him since he crossed that stage hun.” she replied. “What about you Greg?” I asked looking towards him. “Naw, not since we finished.” he said. “Okay thanks.” I said. Then I walked off. My momma seen me heading towards his momma, then called me over. “Eve, where are you going? We‘re about to leave soon.” she said. “Just heading to over here mom. I‘ll be right back.” I replied. I headed over to Marcus mom, Elaine, who was with her oldest son, Cory. “Hey Mrs. Elaine.” “Hey baby, How are you doing?” she asked giving me a hug. We have a wonderful relationship like mother and daughter, and I cherish that because my momma and I don’t have that close bond like we should. “I‘m fine. Excuse me Mrs. Elaine but have you seen Marcus?” I asked. “Umm,,,I believe he headed to his car not too long ago.” She said. “Thanks.” I said running off. “Oh, and don‘t forget that party tomorrow. Be there early.” “Okay.” I yelled. I knew where he parked at since that’s where we had met up earlier. It was still there. His red Charger. I was heading over there until I noticed him leaning against his car. At first I thought he was alone. So I continued walking. But what was this? Arms wrapped around his neck. This can’t be right. I continued walking slowly, but my mind went blank. A two year relationship and I see female arms wrapped around his neck. The closer I got the harder my heart pounded, hoping this wasn‘t what I was expecting. But it was obvious. I walked up, standing right in front of him to see the girl and him. “Well, isn‘t this cute? Isn‘t this the hottest couple.” I said. They immediately let each other go and I seen the girls face. My back stabbing friend. “How could you? ” I screamed out feeling myself getting sick. “Let me…” Marcus was about to say. “Don‘t even go there. You don‘t have shit to explain to me.” I said and stormed off. “Wait…” he yelled out, but he was stopped by her, Renada. I couldn’t stand to see their faces anymore, and the longer I would have stayed there, the more I wanted to hurt them both the way my heart was hurting. And besides, I couldn’t risk to getting into a fight since I wanted to tell him the news that I am three months pregnant with his baby. This message has been edited.
