Apparently Atlantic is not all that impressed with Misdemeanor's summer releases (as none have yet to break into the billboard top 10)and has decided to push back Ms E's album to mi-October. The ppl I talk to have all been saying to look for a 3rd week in October release for the highly anticipated(if only amongst Ms E's truly dedicated fans)eighth album. The release will designate Missy as the only female rap artist to release eight commericial LPs. A major distinction as LL Cool J currently holds the record for hip-hop artists with twelve(10 platinum).
Prefix is now claiming a Nov.11 release, here's the link where you can pre-order Block Party.
Side Note; Did anyone else think the album title choice was a little weak, considering ALLLLL of those fan entries in addition to the fact that Shawnna just released an album in 2006 called Block Music????
