hi GD'ers!

I'm a newbie here, trying to introduce myself...
just a few words: my name is Brigi, I'm from a far away country Hungary, Europe.
I'm an old fan from MATCHBOX TWENTY (you can see on my registration's date Eeker ), I like their music since I first saw IF YOU'RE GONE on MTV ages ago... first I liked their sound, because I could hardly understand the lyrics... (sorry for my mistakes, English is still my weakness!)
I bought MAD SEASON in 2001 (after seeing the video) and loved it. especially the beautiful lyrics from IF YOU'RE GONE, BENT, REST STOP or BED OF LIES... it was easy to find a song of them that fits my mood... <--- I had my MAD SEASON too! Big Grin
soon I got MORE THEN YOU THINK YOU ARE and I really loved it, because there was more rock and power. I adore songs like COULD I BE YOU, FEEL, SOUL and SO SAD SO LONELY and there were such amazing ballads like THE DIFFERENCE and HAND ME DOWN... awwww... sometimes I feel I could cry while listening those chorus... then I saw both dvds SHOW and LFA and became a HUGE fan!
later I found out, there was a debut album, YOURSELF OR SOMEONE LIKE YOU so I made everything to get it, so I got it (was not easy)! never thought that rock music could be so professional and hot-tempered at the same time until I heard PUSH. never knew that guitar music could be so HOT untill I heard 3 AM. and the lyrics, whoa! "I don't know if I've ever been good enough I'm a little bit rusty..." "reach down your hand in your pocket pull out some hope for me..." that really touched me! of course I have EXILE ON MAINSTREAM and I like their new sound and songs, especially CAN'T LET YOU GO and THESE HARD TIMES, but still miss their old roughness, Paul's playing on the drums and Rob's cute southern accent ("rrrainmaker...") ohhh and I'm missing Adam badly! Frowner
unfortunately Hungary is not the place they ever want to make some gigs, I know, and I never had the opportunity/money to travel and see the band live - so far! after seeing tons of concert pics and reviews I pray everyday for another MB20 record and European tour and really don't wanna miss the chance to see their (future) European gigs.

I hope I'm not disturbing you hardcore GD'ers Big Grin with this long long post... have a nice day all!
