hey guys! sorry it took so long to write, but mari and i have (wait for the gasp) dial up, and were having some problems getting on the site. I wanted to tell you that mari, tyler and I wish you a happy holidays and wanted to thank you for all of your kind words and return them a thousand times over. Mari wanted to let you know how nice it was of you guys to send her love while she was down and that it means a lot to her.
i'm coming to the very, very end of my record and can't wait for you to hear it. it's either really good or self-indulgent crap, but i like it. there's even an appearance from mr. kyle cook on there. i've heard much of the paul doucette record, and it's so good, maybe too good. i've also seen a picture of the new addition to the family. (jealous?) young kyle has beaten us all to the punch and been touring the country with "the new left". a solo record is one thing, but a new band? that's just adulterous! (j/k kylie)
with all of these things that we have going on, it think it's important that we all take a minute and think about how lucky we all are. say a prayer for the soldiers overseas and for they're quick and safe return, say a prayer for the people of south asia as they recover from an almost unimaginable catastrophy, say a prayer for the people and animals out on these cold winter nights, and say a prayer of thanks that we never know that kind of true suffering. whatever your religion, this would be the reason it exists.
anyway, we're all looking forward to a happy and healthy new year, and hope that you have the same.

hmmm i've read this before, but it really hit home today. this is so true.. we may all suffer in different ways, but we never have to go through stuff like that... it just made me think.

Tyler is their dog. Mari was sick for awhile but apparently is much better....thank god.
