I don't know anything about Maino, but I just saw the video. It was exactly what I needed at that moment in time.

I was released not too long aqo after doing a little more than a year locked up. It completely flipped my life upside down and people who I thought were friends act like they don't even know me.

I was laying on the couch wondering how my life got so screwed up and not really feeling to good about myself and I happened to stop and watch the video when I was just flipping channels.

It really was exactly what I needed at that moment in time and it gave me a little bit of hope.

That's so amazing. I remember when i first saw this video. I was hypnotized, literally. The music was mesmerising, the lyrics were fire and the video was DONE! I was sitting at my desk at work in tears. I'm not the biggest rap fan but since Maino emerged on the scene he caught my attention. Not only does he have an enticing innocence to his sex appeal but his poetry is straight from the heart, so real it must touch. When he delivers there can be no questions. I am a fan, I think one who will ride with him long after he hangs up his mic because in such a short time Maino has... CAME..SAW..CONQUERED..especially my heart.

Brother, I know what you mean about ALL THE ABOVE. I recently got my life together with the help of: (A. My Wife, B. 2 Kids, C. Best Friends, D. Parents & Siblings, E. ALL THE ABOVE). I just graduted from Morehouse College at 39 due to E. and I am studying my ass off preparing for the exams to enter Dental School. It is NEVER to late to make a dream real. This is such an amazing song. I can seriously relate like everyone else and I am so glad that this song touched so many people.

My life has been a pretty big struggle. I had gastrointestinal problems for the first twelve years of my life. My father has generally been absent and my mother has had cancer three times. I was never really in the "in crowd" and took a lot of junk from my classmates for a long time.
I have always dreamed of attending Princeton University, but after my mother was laid off, I was encouraged by teachers and friends to set a more realistic goal as I could probably not afford the school.
But, I refused to quit and I applied. On March 31st, I got my letter. I was accepted on a full scholarship. This was the day that I saw the video for "All The Above" on television.
I mean it when I say that all the suffering I may have experienced was so worth the fact that I will be living my biggest, most impossible dream in just a few months.
