Gem's transition was definitely for the better. Now Gem does not only have amazing delivery ,flow and rhymes he has content! He speaks more truth and rhymes about situations that matter, "see I rather die broke and be rich in the heart", and Gem killed jeezy and TI on the superstar beat. Even though Gem switched up his game we still get a taste of wordplay like, "im chillin in the cut, like the blades on a sled." we get a little of everything in this tape, including his singing, Gem is like Lauryn Hill, can rap good and Sing good hes a deadly artist in that way,"asking me which talent I do best, is like asking me what came first the chicken or the egg" Hes talent is apparent, not bootleg like Tyrese can sing good and can "rap"..
ah man great mixtape worth the wait, if this was your mixtape, your able is gonna be crazzy, orr flop, best be dammmn crazy, Good Work Gem! "The Testimony of Gemstones">>>"The Carter III"

I definitely agree with you completely. If you listen to "Untamed Beast" it is an ok mixtape but it does not really set him apart from all the other rappers who were doing the same thing.
But "The Testimony of Gemstones" should hopefully give him the recognition he so badly deserves.
