So I listened to the album. Dr. Carter and Mr. Carter are the two standout tracks. He actually sounds sober. Its just in ironic that on Dr. Carter he is talking about MC's who lack creativity and concept.. he even says something about being careful cause the kids are watching.. LMAO, this coming from a drugfiend?? But anyway, can't lie, it is a hot track. Mr. Carter chorus alone is dope, concept as well.. Jay-z is the one who pissed me off by rapping about handing the crown down to 'young carter' telling him go 'farther' and 'harder.' Ehh? Are you serious Jay? You rest hiphop in the fate of Lil Wayne? Once again, regardless of my hating, it is a hot track. Robin Thicke is also a very nice choice on Shoot Me Down.

As usual, lyrics on this album are not good... he doesn't talk about anything that will resonate/thought provoking.. just.. hmm... let's put it this way..

LOL! Yes, that's all the same song. Got Money and various other tracks have similarly what the fuck lines and on this album he has a lot of "i'm hard like __insert-penis-reference____" (Viagra.. goose penis1!?!!) yeah what in the hell..

In conclusion, better than I expected, but don't waste the time and space to download unless u plan to bootleg him lol.. Just go download Dr. Carter and Mr. Carter.
It's definetly not a 'dope' album in my opinion,l but its more hiphop (do i dare!?) than i expected it to be.. i expected it to be a lot more mainstream. Full of a bunch of random bad tracks that shouldnt be there.. 2.5/5?

On the entire album.. Dr. Carter and Mr. Carter are good Tie My Hands and Shoot Me Down are decent and the rest of the album I'd never listen to again in my life. I don't know what all the hype is about this album! I'd admit if it was good... just like I have about these songs.. But yeah I expected even worse I never woulda expected Dr. Carter out of this man.. actually I wonder who wrote it.. cause he doesnt curse except for 'pussy'..

Really? Cuz i heard "Got Money", "Lollipop", and "A Millie" and i hated/disliked all thee of those singles.

I personally thought The Carter 2 was better than The Carter. I doubt this third one can fuck with the second one with joints like those 3.

I did like that Mr. Carter joint.

Nothin can touch that Carter II because Carter II was definitely a big hit
