Aight so i stay in atlanta and i was listening to the radio and got so pissed off. I heard one of the rappers im not fond of disrespecting NAS it was young Jeezy he said and i quote" who is NAS to say hip hop is dead." I really got pissed off because niggas always mixing hip hop and rap up. They are two tatally different things and people fail to realize that shit. I cant understand for the life of me why he would consider himself a hip hop artis i mean really nigga all you talk about is slanging dope and killin niggas in yo songs and if it aint that its money cars or hoes. Take for example his performance at the

'hip hop" awards(which wasnt hip hop at all imght in add) strippers on poles shakin they asses. that shit wasnt hip hop. hip hop wouldny degrade a woman rahter try and let her know her inner beauty. I mean NAS Common Talib Kanye KRS Rakim Mos Def Lupe and a wwhole rack of other hip hop artists need to let these young niggas know what hip hop is. I hat it when a nigga say he hip hopand he dont speak shit hip hop i mean damn nigga trappin aint sum i need to teach a lil kid i dont need to teach them how to pick up a gun when he got a rpoblem and i dont nedd to teach him how to pimp hoes. Exactly, what makes me so mad though is if it came down to it, somebody like Nas could end all these dudes careers if they wanted too! Id Mos Def got pissed at Sombody like Jeezy, you mighjt as well consider his career over! I'm all about peace but this is getting out of hand, somebody needs to step in and show these fools whats what! Hip-hop shouldn't be compared to garbage like Dem Franchise Boys or Jeezy for that matter. They should be glad beef as heavy as Jay and Nas's was hasn't been brought to them by somebody like Nas man, word up!

I agree, but to me its about respect. I always respected Nas even though i havent listened to him, until lately. To me Nas can say whatever he wants, even if he says the grass is blue and the sky is green. I dont care. But Jeezy needs to turn on the radio and no that hip hop is dead. Or close to the end. And yeah, i think the only way to clean rap up is in these battles. Just to get rid of these rappers polluting the game. Just keep Kanye out of the battle rapping. I love him as an artist but i cant see him battling.

I've actually always wondered why nobody strong in hip-hop wouldn't clean all the pollution in our music(hip-hop,rap,etc)It's like Nas said at the end of his hip-hop is dead album, "this hip-hop is real to us" and all dudes like Jeezy are doing is disrespecting it and trying to mold it into more garbage we don't need. Like I said, i'm all about peace, but hip-hop happens to be real important to me and if battling is the only way to protect and restore it, then let it be so!!!
