But first you have to understand it..I just started reading it and I seem to get it better then the bible..and using the word Allah the Supreme Being instead of stereotyping God as a men or maybe he's black its limitless for a face or a gender just thinking of Allah as just a supreme being I think is better..the middle east I also believe has made the religion look bad..all the suicide bombers whats up with that?

Alright, I will be cautious with what's said, but Allah is just the Arabic translaton of God, so the Qur'an is still stereotyping God as a male. Also, the Qur'an is as bad if not worse, when it comes to bashing women. Also, it advocates for acts of violence worse than the Old Testament. In the Hadiths (The words of the prophet) the prophet tells how to properly behead something (never specifies what), commands the forceful application of the religion of Islam on all non believers (hence why they call Islam the religion of the sword), and the prophet also notes the use of women (n a less than flatering way to say the least.)

The Qur'an is also a very peaceful book filled with wonderful stories and uplifting messages. But in every religious texts you will find things that will ether uplift you or upset you. Also, in the three traditional texts (The Bible, The Qur'an, and The Torah) you will find many of the same things (Jesus for example). The religions all follow the same deity, the only difference is the path to heaven.

Sorry Lu if you read this but I mean not slander the religion of Islam but merely point out the fallacies to someone that inquires on the scriptures.

How much have you read on Islamic Sharia law? I have trouble saying which is harder on women between that and the stories in the Old Testament.
