I've been thinking, while people have been labeling....Backpack Rappers/Emcees. Is that a bad label? Is that a bad title? I get called a backpack emcee ALL the time. I take it as a compliment. I'd rather be called a backpacker than a Gangster, or the cliche'd hustler. Alot of emcees take it as an insult of being a hypebeast or a fake emcee. Why? Because we talk about the universe? Anime? Scientific theroies and still make it dope? Or is it because our swag is a little bit retro. My swag isn't retro...its OTAKU SWAGGER.

I embrace the "backpacker" title that is usually given to me by whack hip-hop fans that catch feelings.

I think that backpack began with Boogie Down Productions cause KRS was the first to start kickin knowledge on tracks. Now, it's at an all time creative high with rappers lie MF Doom, Canibus and Aesop Rock tearing it up on the underground circuit.

Backpack rappers are the future of rap. scratch that, Backpack rappers are big part of the future of rap
