Basically i created it, to stop people from going off topic in other threads. Since on this site we are supposed to have a chatroom function. Yet no one can access it. So i made my own chatroom, hence the name Ghetto Chat Room, But it failed. Apparently, nas is the only person who still enjoys this thread.

I was twelve when i wrote my first rap,
White kids thought it was good cuz I was Black
But I knew it was crap,
I used to like gangsta rap but it didn't really appeal to me
So I wrote another rap that was real to me
Wrote it for myself cuz no one else was
feelin' me,
My friend liked it, he said "this is good keep writin"
I used to write rhymes with he,
But he move all the way down to Hamilton,
Then my rhymes got iller, beast like Gorilla
Listening to Bone Thugz N Harmony
And Jay-Z cuz he stood firm like a pillar
Maybe I would start to freestyle
but meanwhile,
I had to work this whole thing out
Then Lupe Fiasco came along and his lyrics
Kick-Pushed me to write this song

Kanye's music introduced itself,
As the truth itself, my mind child-like
I believed there was something more to rap,
Than tryning to improve your wealth
It was about the art so I start
To pay attention to the lyrics,
But all I was hearin' was long chains and diamond rings and things and I didn't want to hear it,
I was like that's it
Couldn't understand the things they spit
Or they meant cuz it never made sense to me,
Jay-Z I listened to the best of he,
The oppression of depression was depressin' me,

I read this piece a couple of times. And i sorta like it more and more. But it didnt really appeal to me. It had some nice verses. But all in all i'd say it was pretty basic. I would like to see more wordplay, or imagery, or more description in your rhymes.
