Lupe's epicanthic folds are visible on this picture, they make him appear to be of Asiatic descent. Epicanthic folds are skin folds of the upper eyelids covering the inner corners, or canthi of the eyes. These skin folds go from the nose all the way to the inner side of the eyebrow. The epicanthic folds are most prominent in people of Asiatic descent and the reason for its presence in anyone may be entirely different. I have no explanation for how he has it, because it is rare in people of African-American descent. It makes him unique.
