Today in school I was lucky enough to have a sub, so after finishing the work I decided to go jam to Lupe. On the second verse of Glory (Favorite song ever BTW) I blurted out loud as hell, "Oh my god Lupe is a ****ing genius." Needless to say I tryed to play it off hard as hell because everybody looked back at me. Just curious if anyone else a similar story.

I'm always bragging about Lupe and calling radio to play his stuff but no really likes him. I honestly believe my living in Nashville has something to do with that. I'm from the Chicago area, so every thinks I like him just because of that. I guess it is easier to just "Crank That" than to listen to someone is actually saying.

Just yesterday I was in class when this one chick was like, I love atmosphere, hes soooo good. And I wasnt looking for an argument, but as a conscience, living, breathing human with half a brain I casually mentioned lupe fiasco. Thats when she really pissed me off. She said KICK PUSH???!!! that shit was stupid. He isn't as deep as atmosphere. *Unforgivable voice* "Bitch, that's a mistake." Anyway, I busted out my laptop and played failure for her and proceeded to break down the whole song in class. It was much more important than the lesson at hand, i must say. |
