i think his music has a chance at being commercial... we wont know till the album comes out... i dont know i think the grammys will recognize his album they may not nothing about real hip hop but i honestly feel lupes music is gonna score big with the grammys...
Lupe Fiasco has a chance at being the first real hip hop mc that will have commercial sucess. Kick Push is getting play.....and i guarentee that him doing a song such as "touch the sky" has got peoples eyes raised. I just want to see how atlantic promotes Lupe because i all ive seen is the lupe music video(kick push) no commercials on the tv, no adds on the internet no signs on the steet, and no shows.........man hopefully shit will work out.-Fury
yes promotion is very important!! I work in promotions myself ive seen and im pretty sure every one else has seen an artist whose album didnt really sell simply because they werent promoted in the right way even though the album is good...atlantic needs to get on the ball!!! lupe needs to be doing more television appearances, more shows in cities where his hype isnt that big, he needs commercials for his album/ single, magazines, and he also needs to do some radio spots/ drops...
