Lyrics, breakdown in next post.

Matthew Santos
Death is on the tip of her tongue and dangers at the tip of her fingers
Streets
Are
On
Fire
To-
Night

Death is on the tip of her tongue and dangers at the tip of her fingers
Streets
Are
On
Fire
To-
Night

[Verse 1: Lupe]
Disease the virus is spreading in all directions
No safe zone no cure and no protection
No symptoms of surviving or signs of an infection
No vaccines remedies and no corrections
Quarantines the dreams and cut off our connections
Don't let em in not a friend not a reflection
Everybody's got it and want you to have it next and
Don't accept em if you wanna stay as an exception
No pill
can heal
the ill of this
Sickness some are still in doubt of it's existence
Some call it forgiveness and some call it the vengeance
Some say it's an exit and some say it's an entrance
The poor say the rich have the cure
The rich say the poor are the source
Revolutionaries say it's psychological war
Invented by the press
Just to have something to report
Some say the first case came from a maternity war
Some say a morgue, some say the skies some say the floor
Whores say the nuns, nuns say the whores
And everybody is sure

The scientists said it only infects the mind
The little boy said it only infects the girls
The Preacher man said it's gonna kill off the soul
A bum said it's gonna kill off the world

[Chorus:]
Matthew
Death is on the tip of her tongue and dangers at the tip of her fingers
Streets
Are
On
Fire
To-
Night

Death is on the tip of her tongue and dangers at the tip of her fingers
Streets
Are
On
Fire
To-
Night

[Verse 2:]
Lupe:
Believe some say the neon signs
Might allow speakers repeatin
And everything is fine
A subtle silence
To demolish the troubled conscious
Of a compass with no knowledge
And every freedom denied
Every dream is designed and broadcasted
From the masters to the masses
From the antennas on top of the shrines
As far as the receiving planet during a panic is shorted
It reports back everything in your mind
Everything is lying
Everything is dying
Everything is a rule
And everything is a crime
Everything was healed
And everything rewinds
And new weather burning feathers off everything flying

Matthew:
And she likes it
And she loves it

Lupe:
The savage
The madness
The bad shit
The lavish
The fastness
To clashes, the ashes
To ashes everything intertwine
My femme fatale my darling fraudulent angel
Once caught her changing her batteries in her halo
Receipt for her wings and everything that she paid for
And the address to the factory where they made those

The scientist says she all inside my mind
The little boy said "What happened to all the girls? "
The preacher man says she gonna kill off the soul
The dope boy said it's the whole wide world

[Chorus:]
Matthew
Death is on the tip of her tongue and dangers at the tip of her fingers
Streets
Are
On
Fire
To-
Night

Death is on the tip of her tongue and dangers at the tip of her fingers
Streets
Are
On
Fire
To-
Night

"Imagine if I had to console
The families of those slain and slayed
on game consoles..."

First verse- About AIDS or another incurable STD, talks about the misconceptions about it/them, ("The little boy said it only infects the girls")
Beliefs people have, ("Some call it forgiveness and some call it the vegeance/Some say it's an exit, and some say it's an entrance")
Where it/they came from ("Some say... A maternity ward, ... a morgue... the skies(Heaven).. the floor(Hell)...Whores say the nuns(spread by the church), nuns say the whores, and everybody is sure"

Second verse-
I'm not very sure about this section, but it sounds like it's about some sort of government conspiracy ("Believe, some say, the neon signs, by the loudspeakers repeating that everything's fine")- Every source is telling you everything's alright, though ("Everything is lying...dying...a rule..a crime...was healed..rewinds...) Through all the bad, there was a short moment of good, but reverted back to the bad things . The last line of this seems to be about global warming, but that may be a stretch (new weather burning feathers off everything flying- It's getting hot all of a sudden)

Everything from "And she likes it" to the end is about The Streets. She loves all the destruction going on. The last four lines ( "My femme fatale..." to "...the factory where they made those") seems to be spoken by either The Game or The Cool/ Michael Young History ,since she's married to The Game, and is having (had, depending on where on the timeline this song would fit in) an affair with Micheal.

Hope that helped, and feel free to question whether this is correct or not.

"Imagine if I had to console
The families of those slain and slayed
on game consoles..."

THE second verse is alluding to the book 1984 in which there is a totalitarian government (when state regulates all aspects of public and private behavior.

This is factual because Lupe said so himself.

The fear is upon us
The skies try to warn us
Your parents are goners
Your children's will martyr
Your drivin me crazy
This war is my lady
Your thoughts are our babies
And God is amazing
The tick of the time
Of whats left of the rhyme
Of the pimp and the rise of your fall's
When you'll find her, hey, hey...

Well I considered the part where he goes, "My femme fatal, my darling...." as the third verse, because it seemed like a different subject, but I dunno what hes talking about.

I never knew what santos was saying past like the 3rd line, but his voice is like sooo good I really didn't mind it lol. Now I just read that and thats HOT!
