And right about here is the 2nd Anniversary of the Death of the Backpacking Kanye... so tragic, we lost him at such a young age.

yeah im gonna be so real, i have been a strong Kanya fan for the longest n was known to complain bout how he changed since College Dropout but this fibally takes the cake. this is the worst Kanye album ive heard but we do have to recognize that we cant compare this to other kanye's. its not even rap or hip-hop, its a hybrid genre to me. but either way i look at it, even if he was tryna go techno, or stadium its still just not a good album. only three good songs.....=(

A couple beats on there are crazy, the rest is meh.

Ok i finally actually listened to the whole thing, ...11 tracks about 3 r good, 2 are horrible and the rest are ok....... songs worth listing to are, heartless, coldest winter, Robocop, and Street lights(which imo is possibly the best song on the album), Amazing feat Jeezy...is well, Amazingly horrible and Bad News is pretty bad aswell...See you in my nightmare feat Wayne, is a decent track, as is Say you will and Welcome to heartbreak, Paranoid is borderline ok but would have been way better had he not been the one singing......

Overall its a decent album i would give it about 3.5 on a scale of 5.. Its main problem is that majority of the songs have a tendency to sound unfinished..probably because he made it in 3 weeks, but the production on most of the songs is outstanding.

so if your looking to support Kayne because your a fan and he's a good artist buy it
If your broke and/or only spend money on outstanding albums dont buy it... but i think everyone should at least listen to it.

yea , personally i thought the album is aight, a few good songs, alot of the songs do seem rushed but meh, as i do lupe im gonna get eveything he drops no matter what though

sidenote: i do feel Kanye's on a another level with this album, wether thats good or bad iunno like Aziz says this album does deserve a listen, don't view it as a hip hop album or you gonna be dissapointed

Garbage, fell asleep on the cd.

Eh...I was thinking about buying it. But...I don't think it's really worth it. Street Lights is awesome though.

Yo forreal. Why do mothafuckas like Heartless? Wasnt Duuude the first to post it on here all on its dick? Its garbage. Beat poppy (in a bad way) and the singin was horrible.

i haven't listened to the album yet but i must say love lockdown was interesting...kind of just fell under the rug for me. Heartless is really not growing on me. but i'll give the album a listen.

i just can't understand how singing got deskilled like this.

here's my personal review for it:

this album is outstanding! the production on this is out of this world.i didn't even listen to a single lyric really. the beats did all the talking. what the hell is everyone hating on robocop for? that beat is so good. the violins throughout the whole song are sick. bad news and street lights are probably the two low spots because they don't really stand out. the freestyle at the end was touching, and coldest winter is even a little better than i first thought. listen to this album in a different manner than his previous albums and you will be very pleased.

10 years from now we will be looking at this album and possibly graduation as goundbreaking albums that were waaaaay ahead of their time. mark my words
