Me and a friend got in to a debate on what lupe said in Gold Watch. Is it Norwegian sensibility, or Parisian sensibility?

I've Looked up the lyrics but they switch up between the to. I've listened to it alot and I still think he says Norwegian.

How come all the lyric websites say Norwegian then?

It's Parisian

Japanese tendencies (Tokyo)
Parisian sensibilities (Paris)

hint hint doesn't Lupe have an affinity for those two cities. Even a song about them. Why would it be Norwegian?

Those lyrics websites are garbage, just look at the absurd lyrics for Dumb It Down they have. Leads me to believe that people really don't comprehend his music. Dumb it Down is soo true.

It's easily Parisian... it makes more sense and you can't believe a word that those lyrics websites write. The one I was looking at got nearly every street fighter's name wrong and had a few lyrics that weren't even close. But that said Norwegian.

The Paris/Tokyo thing gives it away

I wanna take the preconceived
Out from underneath your feet
We could shake it off
And instead we'll plant some seeds
We'll watch them as they grow
And with each new beat
From your heart the roots grow deeper
The branches, well they reach for what?
