i wanted to know what other bands people are into here, my favorites are korn, 40 below summer, mudvayne, 10 years and marilyn manson

I have quite the list so I'll give you the abbreviated version:

Seether, Tapping the Vein, Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Breaking Benjamin, Atomship, Xandria, Flowing Tears, De Novo, Lullacry, Evanescence (older moreso than newer), Emilie Autumn, Nirvana and Shinedown.

shinedown, silvertide, seether, imogen heap, the donnas, halestorm [of course], the dandy warhols, flaming lips, dave matthews, rilo kiley, coldplay, god speeed you! black emperor, smashing pumpkins, the dresden dolls, mars volta, etc.
Now, the next part, I like these bands because they are good. NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE VINTAGE AND TRENDY!
beatles, doors, led zepp, stones, thin lizzy, janis, bob dylan, john lennon, bob marley, aerosmith, pink floyd, van morrison, jimi hendrix, david gilmour, the who, the band, country joe mcdonald, sly and the family stone, stevie ray vaughn, grateful dead, allman brothers, steve miller band, etc.

yeah, i have a very wide variety of my musical likings.

I've seen some great shows lately: Seether, Crossfade & Dark New Day - Theory of a Deadman
although I love Audioslave, Metallica, Led Zeppelin and have been known to listen to the Cure, Siouxsie & the Banshees or Depeche Mode.

a very close second=Halestorm
other favorites are Savatage, Pantera, Skynryd, Molly Hatchet, 38 Special, Yngwie Malmsteen, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Shinedown, Iced Earth, Maiden, Nickelback, too many to list. I also like country, dont laugh hahaha.

Evanescence, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Shinedown, Seether, Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson (she can SING, okay? lol ), Rob Thomas, Dream Theater, Howard Shore (he composed the Lord of the Rings soundtracks. I LOVE the music soooo much)

Those are the ones I'm really into at the moment, aside from Halestorm. I could list all my other bands that I like but we'll just go with those for now

Well my name explains it all...Fuel_Evan_Down_Storm = Fuel, Evanescence, Shinedown and Halestorm! hehe aint I creative?! lol

Shinedown, Halestorm, Nonpoint, Sevendust, Boxelder, Live, Cold, Bush...to name a few

My fav. bands are Seether Halestorm and Shinedown. I was so excited that they all played together, and I saw them all!!!!!! *so happy*

If you love Halestorm (like I do!), you have GOT to check out Lacuna Coil - another strong female vocal. On their website in the media section is reference to LZZY, as she was quoted praising the likes of Cristina Scabbia as pioneers for the sound. LZZY: I just got their newly released KARMACODE CD, so if you would like a copy, let me know and I'll bring it along Froday nite! Other bands with strong female vocals (mostly European metal) are Leaves Eyes and Nightwish. Within Temptation is worthy as well.
