not a big fan of country...simply because it all sounds the same and basically has the same message in every song. now...i appreciate music in itself, so having said that...even tho im not a big fan...doesnt mean that i cant appreciate a great melody or harmony...or even great lyrics...so if i ever hear something i do like...ill love till my death...even if it is country.

I listen to a little bit of everything, including some country. My mom raised me on it. Martina McBride's my favorite country singer by far. I absolutely adore her.
I actually got to meet LeAnn Womack at a concert a few years ago and she's one of the sweetest musicians I've ever talked to. |

Now i'm sure Leann womack isnt as sweet as Liz |

I also don't consider Leann Womack one of my friends. I've just talked to her in passing. Lzzy, on the other hand, if I may be so brazen, is one of my friends. I can't even compare the two of them... |

Country ins't like it used to be. Listen to Big and Rich and Montgomery Gentry sometime. There are elements of Skynyrd and even AC/DC in there as well as old time rock and roll. Rock and Roll, after all, is a derivitive of the Blues and Country Western Music.

Nothing wrong with a little bit of country. I'm liking Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts right about now. I practically grew up with Travis Tritt!

I gotta admit, I'm not the biggest fan of country. I mean I obviously like Johnny Cash, but who doesn't. I love me some southern rock though, but I don't like to venture too far west from that. Marshall Tucker is about as close as I like to get to country, but that's just me. I personally believe that it gets a bad wrap that is completely undeserved. Though that's probably cause in a world where making fun of black people or asians is completely unacceptable, rednecks are still fair game.
